Go Tiger!

Immelman shot another round of -4 today. Tiger is still at even par, 8 shots back.
It's getting a little interesting now, but you know he's going to make a charge soon. |

My husband has tickets for the weekend. He's flying out at 5:30 tomorrow morning with a buddy. I am very envious.

I'm envious too.
Tiger is struggling today. 1 over through 7 holes. At the very least this might ensure we get a close finish on the weekend. |

Glad to see Phil near the top. Hope the weather allows for Saturday play...

Tiger has never won a major when trailing after 54 holes. He's 6 shots behind Trevor Immelman going into the final round.
This should be very interesting indeed. |

Tiger will have to shoot no higher than a 66 to have any chance of winning. Immelman has shot 3 consecutive rounds under 70. Tiger could have easily shot a 65
or 66 today if he had been able to make a putt from inside 15 feet.
Unless Immelman totally collapses, Tiger is going to have his work cut out for him tomorrow. The wind could be a factor though. I think it's going to be a great finish. |

Six shots is nearly impossible - except maybe for Tiger.
He'll need a bunch of things to happen: Immelman will need to realize that he's leading the Maters on Sunday and go +3. Snedeker and Flesh will need to realize that they are in the last and second-to-last groups respectively, at the Masters on Sunday, and go +2 or worse. Casey needs to realize that he's Paul Casey, and go +2. Woods will need to go -2 on the par 5's, -1 on the par threes, and avoid a single bogey. Then win the playoff. Totally doable. |

Asking 4 guys to collapse while shooting a 65 is pushing it even for you know who.
But everyone thought Norman had the green jacket locked up. That's the Masters for you. |

23 mph winds, 66 degrees for the high.
See you about 3:00 pm, when they make the turn and the Masters actually starts. |

Jack Burke won from 8 shots down. Been done before.

Burke's comeback was laregly due to high winds.
It's going to be fun waching these guys trying to come into those greens trying to keep the trajectory low. Ain't gonna happen... |

Amen Corner is going to be a blast with that wind swirling, the Sunday pin placenet, and Rae's Creek looming large.

I wonder if someone is in trouble for not having the grass cut short enough to guarantee Immelman's ball rolling into Rae's creek.
That's a Masters staple on that hole and those people are quite anal about everything being perfect. I wish it had in fact, just to bring the pack closer to the lead for today. |
