ok am i the only one who thought all the girls solo's SUCKED!.... BIG TIME? they did nothing wow like or fun or entretaining, just lift my leg here, spin a
little there, do a little jump, and look somewhat constipated!
the boy however, they were all good, and i'm sad to see jaime go! it shouldn't have been him! he was the best looking in the comp and the only ballroom guy! DAMN YOU CONTEMPORARY DANCERS!! |

1. Rayven SHOULD have planned a solo that showcased her ballet skills (I was wondering the same thing as Nigel, why she was doing demi-pointe (spelling)). I
wanted her to stay over Jessica because Jess is just another contempary dancer, while Rayven at least has the ballet thing, and the age.
2. There are NO MORE MALE BALLROOM DANCERS! What is this show going to do? I wanted Matt to stay as the only cute guy, but this sucks. 3. Am I the only one who wasn't impressed by ANY of the solos (The guys were okay, all the girls sucked hard, and Will was the best, even though he still was not that impressive). 4. Yay for Susie avoiding the bottom (anyone who says she deserved obviously missed half of yesterday's show, since as long as Comfort/Chris, Rayven/Jamie, Kourtni/Matt, and Courtney/Gev's preformances existed, they deserved to stay. But now I wish she was in the bottom, since even if she did a decent solo, she would have gained fans and stayed over the two girls who danced crap ones. Has anyone noticed that since Season 2, the first week, a couple is always eliminated together (Jaimie/Rayven, Stanislav/Erin, Ricky/Ashlee). The judges probably want to keep everyone together so that relationships can gel. But in S2 and 3, week 2 and 3 had couples being separated. Week 4 saw a couple eliminated together, and week 5 saw another separation. It'd be funny if it happens again.

I thought today's show went with not too many surprises. I would've substituted Courtney/Gev for Kourtni/Matt in the bottom 3.Their "disco"
routine didn't do anything for me. I wasn't too high on Jaime or Rayven so I'm happy they went. Although I would've been just as happy if
Jessica went.

cruising to the top 10 but let's all remember Ricky last year. Dude was an extremely proficient contemp dancer but he just couldn't connect with the
audience. Will doesn't have the weirdo vibe Ricky did but he does have an air of confidence that is sure to be mistaken for - well, I'm not gonna say
it but you know what word it is.
Is there an anti-ballroom feeling in the air this season? I hope they still have the Argentine Tango as one of their dances. The War of the Feet is always
fun to watch.

Seemed to me America dug Danny, just this board didn't. I mean, he did make it to the final 4 and never hit the bottom after separated from Anya. I think
he came in 2nd but that's completely debatable.
That said, it's premature for Nigel to say William will make top 4. At the moment, I can only imagine Twitch there because he is very popular but even he is not immune from the possibility of elimination. |

I hate that WILL. He is so cocky and... ARROGANT! (sorry, I couldn't resist). Although his solo was the best, I didn't think it was genius or anything.
I don't think he's a Danny.
And yes, there does seem to be an anti-ballroom vibe this year. Only three made it to the end, and the only male was cut first, and one of the remaining females is on thin ice with the viewers (I have no idea what the judges feel towards Susie). |

Jessica should've gone home with that shit poor solo. Seriously, she sucked ten times more than Rayven. But, I knew that they'd keep Jessica...I just
knew it.
I preferred Matt's solo over Will's I agree. I wasn't that impressed with Will...He should've gotten the personality speech as well, IMO. Matt was incredible...and he is kind of adorable. Jaime's solo was all over the place, so I understand why he went. But whether Debbie is there or not, I do feel like Will has an unfair advantage in the judges' eyes. |

I think Jamie's clothing during his dance last night was what Pasha wore during the mannequin dance with Lacey last season.
The first chick that danced solo tonight (Courtney??) wobbled when she did the obligatory leg lift. I didn't really find any of tonight's solos entertaining. Kat should introduce Susie to her makeup crew. Kat always looks stunning. |

Random thoughts:
-I enjoyed Wade's routine. Nothing amazing, but it was entertaining. -I agree, the cameramen were sketchy and a few of the shots were swaying and WTF. -Wow, I must say that the Pussycat Dolls really sold that new song to me. Just kidding it was awful. -Definitely disappointed with the girls' solos. Kortni's should have been better. Rayven was yawn city. Jessica had an opportunity here to set herself apart from the pack and to show some personality, but her solo was garbage. -Will is a bit overconfident, I could see it seeping through from the first moment we saw him in the audition rounds. I love his dancing though, I want to see more of it. -Poor Jamie and his man boobs, I really thought that he was going to stay over Matt. I'm sure he is a fantastic swing dancer and I feel bad that he didn't get to show off his strengths. -Overall, still pretty meh. These dancers better give'er next week. |

I think Jessica skated through based on last night's performance. While her Tango needed some work, it was still better done than Rayven's hip-hop.
Also, Rayven not going en pointe obviously was a fatal flaw. I wonder if the judges thought it laziness on her part. I was surprised that Uma-lite made it
through, I didn't care for her solo much.
I'm not too surprised to see Matt go. Ballroom dancers have a pretty high kill rate in the early rounds (Benji & blood relations not withstanding). Maybe if he had ripped his shirt off like Dimitri he would have stayed longer. |

I was ok with the result, but I would have rather Jessica go than Rayven. Although she wouldn't be long for the show anyway.
Of all the guys, I just don't like Chris. He's creepy. I am glad Will stayed. Cause I need my eye candy. And really happy about Kourtni & Matt staying as well. I hope he can get it together next week because I think he's got the potential. |
