The K adds a certain secksyness, I can't put my finger on it. <3
NOT ENOUGH SHIRTLESS KAMERON LAST SEASON. GP ANGRY, GP SMASH. |

Kam's body kinda paled in comparison to Pasha, Danny and Neil. Same reason why we didn't see much shirtless Dom, Cedric, Jesus, etc. They didn't have the muscular frame that some of the others did. But I <3'd Kam's body and still find him sexy. I still get mini-shivers thinking of him putting his arm around me and pulling me back in for a second picture. Godsh. And yes. The K makes it oh-so-sexy. |

Kam was the most buff out of all the men, i'm a sucker for the beefcakes.
Pasha, Danny and Neil were a little too scrawny-muscular for my tastes. x_x |

Yeah, Kam was more beefy buff than skinny buff. I found it utterly hot. My phone is old and sucky but I can't bring myself to get rid of it with his signature on the back. Ugh, that damn lucky Sabra!!! |

I was at a friend's house last night and his mom was watching Lifetime (bleck). There was a new dating show on there, The Big Match, and Cat Deeley was the host. I sat down and watched the entire show I <3 her so much. |

I forgot how many sexy men were on last season. Yum-may!
I hope Shane isn't gone, I liked him, and he usually wasn't talking out his ass when he was judging. Mia, I can do without. I don't hate her or anything, but...meh. |

Supposedly Shane is mostly likely to leave, though the producers are trying to hush talk of it all. Something to do with season two of America's Best Dance Crew on MTV. I know he has a more prominent part there, but c'mon... SYTYCD is so much classier, on basic cable, and has millions more viewers. |

Strangely enough, I like him much better as a judge on AMERICA'S BEST DANCE CREW. On SYTYCD, it always seems like there's a bit of Nigel Lythgoe in
all of the judges' comments, not unlike AI (though SYTYCD is far superior than that overrated shitfest).
I love that there are more dance reality shows and that the good ones (which does NOT include DANCING WITH STARS or the knockoff on LIFETIME) all have something different to offer. |

Cat's definitely the best reality show host I've seen. She's empathetic, self-deprecating, charming, intelligent, and NEVER makes the show about herself....I think it is a tough gig doing reality tv hosting and she does have the perfect mix of controlling the interviews but not interfering and she does seem to really attach herself to the contestants as well. I have been downloading and watching the Australian version, and have to say except for a few strangely combined styles for routines, it is en par with the US version. I am hoping that our Canadian version will be as good as the US and Australian versions. As the Australian version is just ending, the Canadian and US series are just starting. Mary Murphy is playing a part in all 3, having just come to Vancouver for the first round of auditions here. She judged one of the early top 20 shows in Australia. Shane Sparks does fill his passion as a judge in America's Best Dance Krew, so won't be surprised if he doesn't return to judge SYTYCD. I loved this show as well, and it competes as a different type of dance show to SYTYCD. Mia has her moments, but judging by the reaction of the dancers to her choreography she will be missed if she doesn't choreograph more than a few routines. Wade not showing up would be a Travesty. There will never be another Ramalama or Sexy Back routine in my mind. However, since our Canadian show is stealing back our little french ballroom judge for our own purposes, there will probably be a vacancy in this role and I really think that the US should grab Jason Gilkison from the Australian series. If not for judging, at least to choreograph a few ballroom routines. He really takes ballroom into the 21st century. And Mary Murphy called him out as one of the best ballroom choreographers in the world. Check out his top 6 routine: Some other choreographers from Australia that could crossover for a routine or 2 would be SUPPLE (a brit) and Nacho Pop (american) for their hip hop styles. I really enjoy watching dance shows and seeing the dancers progress within their craft. I wonder if I will be thinking I might be a bit overloaded with back to back to back series Aus/US/Canada. edited to add: thanks for the 'Kam' shots. He may not have been even close to the best dancer, but dayum! Hope they have more of that! also, hope that US version isn't as uptight this season about letting any 'gay' competitors onto the show. Australia has a drag dressing make up artist, who is a masculine and phenomonally gifted dancer. Bravo's Step it up and Dance revels in the 'Mean Girls' a couple of very gay men who are catty as hell competing alongside the other men.

Isn't Brian Friedman still banned from the show after all those fraus made a huge deal out of him dating a certain contestant back in S1? At least that
was rumor from last year.
As much as I like Shane, I can live without him coming back. S2 he was good. Then he got overshadowed by other choreographers last season like Dave Scott. Wade's one-note dancing has its hot/cold moments, but last year saw much more of the cold than the hot from S2, so I'm not sure about him. Mia can go back to wherever she came from and raise her toddler. No real loss. Whoever said that Mandy Moore needs to come back (and judge) is absolutely right. I think there was only one dance I didn't like of her's last year, the one where Sara was eliminated the following night. And speaking of, I kinda wish Mary would revert to a revolving judge position, for at least one week, so as to see her choreo again. I just feel that someone of her talent and pedigree is being wasted by being on the panel instead of showing us on screen what she's capable of teaching like back in the day. Barring that, just bring Dmitry in as a regular choreo, as his Samba far outpaced the other Latin choreos. |

Thanks, you'd think after 5 years, I'd find a different one. I'm a victim of inertia. |
