It was one of Chelsie's weaker nights and one of Courtney's stronger. However, it's not like Chelsie got horrible or even ho hum reviews. They were still pretty consistent like it's been the entire season.

Meh, I just don't know if Chelsie inspired people to pick up the phone and vote...so I'm not totally convinced.Oh and Courtney did? I just don't know if Chelsie's fanbase is all that big in comparison to Courtneys.I don't get your logic. She has yet to be in the bottom 3/2, Courtney has already been there twice (and last week). Chelsie/Mark were on of the two major power couples this season and so by default I think she has a way bigger fanbase than Courtney.

Courtney and Twitch had smaller fanbases last week than the others. While not impossible (Will's voters going to Twitch, and Comfort's voters going
to Courtney), it's unlikely that's changed.

Opinions are definitely swinging in favor of Courtney lately on this board and others. Plus her solos are killing the girls which makes her likely to be in the top 4. |

Another way Courtney could swoop into the F4. It's been a much tighter race with the guys and that seems to be where all the focus is. I think it would be fun to see Courtney make F4 over Chelsie: 1 - for the "shock" factor; and 2 - because she is just as deserving as the other 2 girls and the girls are much more equal in their abilities. Overall, I am fine with any of the girls making the finals and the only one left who I have strong feelings against making the F4 is Twitch. There must not be any Twitch in the F4. |

The only plus to Courtney outlasting Chelsie (for me) would be that Katee would have a better shot of winning, cause shes miles ahead of Courtney, where as I
think Chelsie is closer to Katee if not better. Katee would definitely pick up the votes going towards a girl if Courtney was the other girl in the F4.
But really, I'm with swim. Courtney is a goner. |

I thought Katee had this locked for the win until last night
 it seems Josh is the obvious winner now. Which I wouldn't mind, he's been great all
season, but I suppose I don't particularly like..err, the REASONING. Nigel's so gung-ho about Josh being able to dance outside of his style. Well,
everyone does that. Is Paso in Katee's style? No. So why didn't she get the same praise as Josh did about dancing out of her style? Samba isn't
Courtney's style, etc. etc., and yet that praise has only seem to come up with the hip-hop dancers.
The judges seem to have this perception that if you dance hip hop, it automatically means you have no training and it means you aren't expected to be able to dance out of your own style. So when a hip hopper actually DOES dance out of their style, they get enormous praise. Still hope Katee can edge out the win, but I think that's only possible if Josh/Twitch both make the finals together, otherwise with Josh's momentum from last night, he has it locked up. Unless Katee absolutely steals the show, but even if she does, the acknowledgement from the judges may not be on her side.

Last night's show was the best of the season top to bottom. The two dances that really reminded me why I love this show were Mark & Courtney's
jazz-Sonya and then Josh & Katee's paso.
Just wow. Josh's intensity and, like Drew said, the commitment to his style was great but I wouldn't want to leave out Katee. I think she's a bit of a chameleon who, dance-wise, really submerges herself in whichever choreo she's given and this one gave her a real style to play with. Josh was the star, but Katee played her part quite well. Mark of course was born to dance for Sonya and Courtney's sharp moves and sexiness added just the right amount of spice to the routine. The demonic grin on Mark's face cracked me up. If I could vote I'd still vote for Josh, but at this point seeing such a good performance show means more to me than who wins - especially since I think the only dancer of the top 6 who would be a total travesty if he won (Twitch) is also the least likely to do that. I would love it if they'd release the voting totals for the final four. I believe AI did it once for a final 3 because it was so close. So many of us are so sure we have a read on the voting or imagine it to be so stable, who knows what surprises the actual voting breakdown would reveal. You know, for those who believe the voting counts and aren't busy sticking Nigel with voodoo pins because he didn't call off the finale and announce Mark the winner last night. |

I didn't like the hip-hop routine from Chelsie and Twitch (props for a string quartet version of CONTROL as the music though). I do hope Chelsie stays
because I'd love to see her and Mark dance together again.

Was last night the first time we actually got to see all of Josh's upper body? Normally he's covered or half covered. He's much beefier than the
other guys, but he looked really solid last night, better than I had expected.

I do hope Chelsie stays because I'd love to see her and Mark dance together again. I'm sure one of their dances, probably the one with the businessman schtick, will make the best of lineup for the finale. |
