Comfort had krumping, though. Isn't that sort of in her genre?

I'm still mad about the bed routine. They have done everything to protect Twitch, giving him the Latin Dance that requires the least technique to be passable and the least amount of hip movement, and a vaunted Mia Michaels routine that was "choreographed" aournd his and Kher's limitations as dancers. I wonder if she actually told him how to roll around or if he freestyled it. I've read some blogs that call this piece of shit "amazing". They should have their rights to write about the show revoked. Anyone who can be that susceptible to accepting rose petals as a substitution for dance shouldn't be allowed to comment on it. Anyone that blinded by the name "Mia Michaels" has lost all objectivity. That goes for the judges too. I would be shocked if Twitch doesn't win or at least doesn't make the top four. And it pisses me off because he the least technically talented dancer left BY FAR. I know these are at their core popularity contests, but come on -- you should at least be in the same league as the other contestants to be considered a finalist. THAT DANCE WAS BULLSHIT. |

THAT DANCE WAS BULLSHITYou are welcomed to your opinion, but it is just that. The bed dance was MILES better than the crap Gev and Troll threw on the stage in the 2 dances that they did which were so memorable I had to look at the website to remember. |

On a somewhat unrelated note (although I guess the talk of hot boyz justify it), I recently saw Neil Haskell in the Off-Broadway production, Altar Boyz.
Damn that boy is fineeeeeeee |

So, I think it is rather interesting that Thayne has NEVER pulled Contemporary and Comfort has NEVER pulled Hip Hop. Nigel wants them gone. I don't think that's even remotely true. They've both been in the bottom 3 nearly every week. If Nigel wanted them gone, they'd be gone.

I think she was better in her waltz than Twitch was in any dance. But yeah, her and possibly Gev are at or below Twitch's level.

I prefer to think of it as discriminating taste, thank you.

I found Twitchington's paso doble to be not up to scratch. There was a clear amount of chemistry between Twitch and K-herington Payne, but IMHO, they lost
the plot. The paso doble is NOT about two dueling matadores. The paso doble is about a matador working in sync with his red cape to thwart the bull. What we
saw wasn't a true matador fighting a bull. It was a matador fighting his cape. Of course, that may be what the choreographers were going after. Either way,
it didn't work for me.

Can anyone tell me what dances each of the couples left have had throughout this competition and who the choreographers were for each dance. I could have
sworn that Josh/Katee already had a contemporary routine. Thanks and Happy 4th all!

My problem with this season is that it's becoming like Idol where it's putting a ton of focus on the judges; a lot more than in the past and a lot more
than I care for.
I don't care for the judges unless they're giving constructive criticism - which Nigel chooses to do only for certain people and in varying amounts (total asshole to Jessica but let's a lot of people off with a free pass). Mary's become a caricature who occasionally says something on point. Mia's a total bitch sometimes; Dan is decent as a judge but is limited in his knowledge on ballroom; and the list goes on. Some days they're useful and some days it's all a bunch of Randy Jackson blather. I want a show about the dancers but this season, there also seems to be a focus on the judges, which I personally don't care for. Stop making it about you, jerks! |
