Can someone please tell Thayne to keep his funny looking mug out of the camera for extreme close-ups? Arggggh, it's annoying. Poor Thayne. He's actually a pretty good dancer and seems to be a nice guy. Which is why, everytime I see his smile, I feel a little bad for thinking that he looks like he could the uncanny offspring of Benji Schwimmer and Mr Sardonicus. |

I think that I want Will/Jessica to reach the Top 10 even though I don't like Will that much. I just think it would be funny if Jessica outlasted Will if
they do get to the Top 10.

Wow I was right with my prediction. How utterly shocking (not)! This show is WAY too predictable. Now we have to look at who makes the golden TOP TEN that get
to go on tour - through the judes's (Nigel's) money grubbing eyes....hands down - sight unseen - Thayne and Jessica will go next week.

There have been very few surprises in this top 20 group, but I must say that I didn't see Kourtni's storyline turning out the way it did. She was one
of the frontrunners at the beginning of the show, and I thought that she would easily make top 10. Matt had a good personality, he danced well, and for some
reason, he was Nigel's punching bag from the get-go. Maybe I'm missing something, but I really felt the chemistry between these two in the contemporary
comic book routine last week.
This season's biggest flaw is the inclusion of too much cannon fodder. Jessica potentially making top 10?!? Last but not least, Gev's solo was awesome tonight. He really needed to shine, and he did. |

I think I'm probably the only one around here, but I don't mind Thayne (aside from the perma grin). I think he's a good dancer and he seems like a
nice guy. Matt I did like too, but he always seemed awkward to me. I would have preferred that Gev go. Yeah, his solo was great...but he can't really seem
to excel at much else. Meh. Thayne will go next week...no way are Will, Twitch, Josh or Mark going and they seem to like Gev, so...that's a no brainer.
Kourtni was the right choice to go I suppose, but Comfort is most likely next, she's been mediocre even though last night she had a decent night. Jessica will probably be saved by the voters who will vote for Will due to the judges tongue baths of him. |

I sometimes wonder if Jessica is the vote getter in the Will/Jessica partnership? Will is talented, but he's lacking in the personality department.
Jessica really registers and given the beating she gets from the judges, she might be attracting those who root for the likable underdog. It would be hilarious
if she makes top ten with Will and then Will gets booted while she makes top 8.

Seriously, I was trying to remember the remaining six guys tonight and could only remember five. For the life of me I could not remember who the sixth person
was until I remembered Jessica and then remembered Will. I'm just baffled by the fawning from the judges over Will because half the time I forget he's
there.
I kind of liked Matt and personally I would have taken him staying over "I have way too much teeth" Thayne but the moment they eliminated Kourtni, I knew they would eliminate him as they wouldn't have Comfort change partners back to back like that. On the question of who's gay and who's not. I have to say I'm on the fence about Mark; I don't think he's totally straight but I don't think he's totally gay either which makes me strongly believe he may swing both ways. I totally get a bi-sexual/adrogenous vibe from him. Or we could all be wrong and he's actually totally straight (yeah I don't buy that). |

Fuck Nigel. Did anyone else get the idea that he spilled the beans that Idol's eliminations are sometimes picked by the producers? If the eliminated
contestant is the one with the fewest votes then why would it be stressful?
