I've had a headache all day, so maybe that's why, but I found the whole show to be tedious. I think it was the two dances from each couple. Way too much. It couldn't end soon enough for me.

Hanson you're my hero!!!
Everything you just said is so spot on. Even the Paso doble that Twitch & Kerrington did, if you watch it back again you'll notice that there was hardly any footwork from Kerrington. It was just step turn, step turn, kneel on the ground and throw the cape around. I actually thought Twitch was better than Kerrington on that one. Courtni & Matt's performance was like a hip hop by numbers and they were so totally off sinque with each other. I thought Matt was stronger though on this one. Matt was great in the Mambo, but Courtni was totally lagging towards the end of this dance and barely got through it. Comfort & Thayne were boooring in both their routines. Comfort looked really pretty though. It looked like they made the choreography easy for Comfort. Nigel just loves this girl doesn't he, unfortunately she just isn't that great. Jessica & Will were okay in their first dance. I just kept thinking "don't drop her, don't drop her". Loved their second number with the shirt. First time I've liked anything they've done. Gev & Courtney were okay, but I tend to forget that they are even on the show. I think Courtney is the better dancer out of these two. The best of the night overall were Josh/Katee and Chelsie/Mark in my opinion. Both of these couples just have that chemisty when they dance. It doesn't matter what they dance they just put their whole heart and soul into it. |

I only really have two things to say after tonight.
I want to kick Thayne in the teeth. Hard. Really hard. I want to gaymarry Mark. |

I also forgot to say that I don't think Nigel likes Mark very much. Mary is the expert in ballroom and loved Chelsie & Mark. She even said Mark did great, yet Nigel tried to say he wasn't dancing on his toes or some such nonsense as that. It's probably because Mark is gaining in popularity and is becoming a threat to his favorite guys Will and Twitch. |

Why don't they skip the pretense and have all the boys dance shirtless?
It's not possible with something so diverse and subjective, but a degree of difficulty factor would be nice.

Does anybody know if the episodes are online anywhere. We had bad storms and the power was out. I'm going to be so pissed if I can't see this
episode.

I don't usually like contemporary so much, but Katee and Josh's first number is the best of the season so far, for me. Love them.
I think Thayne and Jessica will go, which is fine cause even though I'm not a Will fan, he's in it for the long haul so having him with Comfort would be awesome. Kourtni's time is up too, imo. If Jessica and Will aren't bottom three, I think Kourtni goes. I do like Matt and cringed at Nigel's comments to him. |

I have been upset with Nigel's inabilility to let other judges have their own opinion, too. Mia was right about Kherington's smile, and Mary DOES know
more about ballroom than he. For some reason, he wants to micromanage this season, and I don't get it.
Oh. To see the dances, to to youtube. That's what I do. Saves a lot of crap viewing, too. |

I figured out tonight that if you don't watch Nigel's critiques and mute the TV when he is talking the show becomes much more enjoyable. When I watch
his critiques I usually disagree with what he says and thinking about that only distracts me from enjoying each routine to the fullest. The other three judges
were okay tonight and I was able to listen to them and agree with what they said. He needs to go back to doing what he does best on American Idol: sitting in
the audience and remaining silent for the whole show.

Cg you hit it on the nose. "Micromanaging" is exactly what Nigel is doing this season. He is obviously trying to get rid of certain dancers and
keep his favorites in. I just have to laugh, because when his favorites do bad he'll say "oh but there were so many good things that you did in that
dance" or pinpoint certain moves that according to him are so "extremely difficult". The worst is when he blames the partner, and tells them the
dance didn't succeed because they were the weaker of the two, when alot of times it's his favorite that is the weaker one.

clyde I am definitely going to take your advice and mute my tv next week when he's talking. Better yet I hope they have a guest judge to take his
place!

I don't know what i think about the "Nigel is pimping" business. It does seem he very much wants to steer this puppy. He does not seem able to
deal with opposing viewpoints, this season. He has, thus far, argued with Mia, shushed Adam and pretty much put Mary's ballroom expertise into question.

I think that Mary stole some of Pauler's drug stash and then Nigel stole it from her, and she's got his tiny balls in a
vice grip in her hand. Cause they're both annoying the fuck out of me.
Katee/Josh's first dance was amazing. Liked the Will/Jessica one too, and Mark and Chelsie were good. Missed Fire Marshal Comfort |

Hanson wrote: I agree with you completely. I didn't see much dancing going on at all. Just laying around, jumping on the bed, and writhing around. One point when
Kherington jumped on the bed, it looked like she bounced off and fell on the floor but did a nice recovery job and covered it as part of the choreography.

I wasn't digging the Cat look last night. She looked like a poofy penguin. This girl is as slim as anything but for a second I thought, wow is she
pregnant? Wasn't into the hair either.
I'm still debating who is tongue bathed more? Will or Mia Michaels. I'm also not sure what bothers me more.... when Mia Michaels is a guest judge and I have to listen to her OR when she is sitting in the audience looking like she is the queen holding court with that "look" while everyone tells her that she pretty much shits gold bars. Will reminds me a lot of Blair Underwood. Oh and the dancing? Meh, I was a little underwhelmed last night (so much so I think I fell asleep before I saw all the second dances. I missed K/J, G/C I believe - considering that it is pretty obvious however that they aren't going anywhere, who cares) Josh/Katee are just good dancers; period. I didn't see their second dance but after these couple of weeks I doubt I have to. Mark/Chelsie - saw both dances. Again, they are just good, period. When you have a good partnership also, it does amazing things. I think they have a very nice chemistry which is different from J/K's which makes me like both couples equally but differently. Twitch/Kherrington - Obviously they have a lot of fans and A LOT of haters round here. I think they are both very good. They both have very likeable personalities and a nice pairing. I have no business critiquing the technical elements of any dance; I just either like what I watched or I didn't. Both dances held my interest regardless of tech mistakes or lack of choreography that people are talking about. I enjoyed watching them and that is bottom line for me Will/Jess - First dance? I instantly felt reminded that I was watching Dancing With The Stars and Will was the professional and Jess was the celebrity who was taken under wing to learn to dance. She didn't do it for me. BUT, I was a little surprised that NapTab didn't give her proper credit for the second dance. I thought she was VERY good; probably the best I've seen her and was right there with Will the whole time regardless that he was missing a shirt. Gev/Courtney - Didn't see their second dance but I imagine it was probably fine. First dance was okay. Not a huge hippy hoppy fan anyway but I wasn't retching at them Matt/Kourtni - Ack, that wasn't hip hop, it was hip slop. That was TERRIBLE and I happen to like the toned down versions of hip hop (Katee/Josh's, Sabra/Dom's were excellent) That was NOT in any way shape or form good, I couldn't wait for it to end. As far as the second dance, it was "okay" but there was absolutely no whoa momma stuff going on in there. I was a big viewer fan of Kourtni when she was auditioning but she has kind of taken the wind out of my sails. Matt unfortunately just doesn't have *it* (whatever that is) If he could do some ballet for me, I'd be very happy, his kicks, turns, etc. are beautiful but in everything else, he just doesn't do a thing for me. Thayne/Comfort - I love West Side Story and was looking forward to this one; wasn't a big fan of it; they were adequate but nothing special. I did however, really enjoy their second dance. Both carried themselves beautifully (I'm a sucker though for that wispy dress, ballerina lifts and turns though) Comfort did look beautiful and I thought the routine was very very pretty. Leaving? Doesn't seem much of a stretch - T/C, K/M are in bottom most likely. I imagine W/J would be third I guess. Jess usually is not good at her solos and I think Nigel and company want Will with someone else bout now. Nigel has a stick up his ass about Matt's stick up his ass so unless Matt kicks the shit out of his solo I think he would go as well. Since I have no clue who could be the third couple, I wouldn't think the judges would let any of the others go cept perhaps Comfort or Thayne but I think they may want to give them another week as a couple together |

It couldn't end soon enough for me.I felt the same way. Dragged on, and seemed like the choreographers were all weaker than their normal choreographers. I really don't care for the two girl hip-hop choreographers. As for who will leave, obviously Kourtni/Matt and Comfort/Thayne will be bottom three, and since Will/Jessica were first and Gev/Courtney went last, I'll give the edge to Will/Jessica to be bottom three. I think Matt will be a goner, and either Jessica or Kourtni for the girls. and yes, Cat looked like shit. |

Cat's hair didn't seem like she cut it... just tucked up under in some kind of shitty ass hairdo. The show is so predictable this season. Personally I
am sick of the dancers (again this season) being bitched out for the choreography.
Bottom three guess: Matt/Kourtni; Comfort/Thayne; Courtney/Gev IMO Leaving: Matt/Kourtni |
