Total Eclipse of the Heart is supposed to be a song of desperation, and if anything her scowling expressions added to the performance, IMO. Even if Jason's song doesn't go over well with the judges, I think the song choice alone will save him, like Syesha's "I Will Always Love You" last week.

This is the exact same Simon Cowell who praised Egghead for mediocre performances because he thought he would win. Are we expecting him to change his ways for a contestant he so obviously hates?

"Without You" is going to be ATROCIOUS. It seems Simon's only real knowledge when it comes to music is when it comes to big diva ballads. She better at least get the pimp spot for "Without You", otherwise I think we'll be seeing Carly in the bottom 3 again. I thought Syesha was a lock for "Without You". I don't know whether I should be glad that we don't have to hear that obvious trainwreck or pissed that Carly got it and could potentially bomb it too.
