There was Dan's site, but it got taken down, and I lost all my early ones when I got a new computer. They weren't very good, though.
The swirls are just more Word Shapes. Just color the semicircle below the bar one color, and then add in some swirls of another color. I also think you should either lose the monkeys or make them bigger - especially the one on the right.

A couple of tips:
* Crop the image using the graphics program. It's kinda silly to have the Full Screen bar in the shot. * Download the fonts - Survivant and Bloc Heavy ATT * Shrink the whole image down a bit using Smart Size in PS or PSP, or (what I use) Resample in Irfanview (www.ifranview.com). This will give you the nice smooth edge (on a side note, I've started doing my logos in PSP to give it a smooth edge from the start). |

Survivorcyco - I made this once the location was announced. The woman is traced (but i had to remove her praying hands once someone contacted me to say that wasn't appropriate). The flowers are traced and adjusted to fit into the logo, as arethe palm trees. The color choice is based on the fact that pink, purple and yellow seemed to be prominent Thai colors, which the green representing the beautiful scenery. If I were to do it again, I would use the Chedi design from the actaul logo instead of that temple.

Timnz I was kidding, my only motivation for doing the logos is making them for the probable locations. I can only get motivated to do them when a location is just about nailed down.
You have to admit though they look fairly legit.
