I really am hoping for one slightly-cold weather season before the show ends. I know they can't do anything too cold, but areas of Canada or Alaska in the
summer would be about 70 degrees, and the Northern Hemisphere wilderness would be good for a change. You'd have to have a location name that was steeped
in mystique, though. Alaska would be the closest thing I could think about, because Survivor: Canada would just sound a little silly.

Survivor Iceland would be the ideal cold weather locale. They could film near hot springs and Iceland has tons of cool geological features and waterfalls.
Plus they could use a viking theme.

I'd rather see them do something really mountainous... like the Himalayas (Ladakh, India?), Andes (Lake Titicaca... could they say that on TV?) or the
Caucasus (ummmmm.... Georgia's out due to war recovery, Russia would be plagued by human rights protesters, Azerbaijan would be preferable to Armenia in
scenery but the Armenian diaspora's connections to the entertainment industry would make Armenia more feasible). The Caucasus gets hot in the summer as the
producers like to see the clothes come off (90-110 degrees+).
Survivor: Himalaya (Hindu themed) Survivor: Andes (Inca themed) Survivor: Caucasus (Soviet themed) |

I think Papua New Guinea would make an awesome location for survivor. It has an unique wildlife and cultural background...

Does anyone know the current state of Pulau Tiga? I had heard that it was almost completely a resort island now, but if the Tagi, Pagong-Pagong, and challenge
beaches are still preserved and uninhabited, I would love to see them return for the final season.

Yeah, it is a resort now: http://www.pulau-tiga.com/

Oh well... I can't imagine they'd shut down the resort just to film. It's possible, though. It seems the actual resort isn't located on the
beaches they used for filming; those are still nature preserves. The resort could easily be Loser's Lodge. I guess shutting down an entire island resort
would draw some attention, though, thus eliminating the "surprise" element of the future location.

I think the beach is a little too small to have two tribes beaches, the looser lodge and the challenges beach... The contestants would find the lodge and stay
in there...

The lodge was there when the original show filmed, though. They might have expanded it but I believe production stayed there the first time.

After SEG pimped Panama and Palau too many times, I don't want them to go back to another retread location.

Neither do I. The only situation in which I'd want to see Pulau Tiga again would be the final season. It would just feel right that way.

If they do another island/beach location for S19, what's a possibility? I've always thought Madagascar would be likely eventually, and New Caledonia
(Isle of Pines) and the Dominican Republic (Los Haitises) have been used for the French and Israeli versions of Survivor, respectively.
