No big deal but hows your record? I've been here since S9. How long you been here? What I do is contact the various locations and tell them I want to scuba dive. But I tell the dive shops that I herd Survivor is filming there and I don't want to be any where near them. They always tell what they know. Pretty hard for Survivor to hide such a big operation.

After I posted, I checked the page and realized that an esteemed poster had given the information (for some reason, I thought whoever said it had double-digit posts). I've actually only been here since Vanuatu as well, so we're even, but I've only applied twice, awhile back. You contact the scuba shops? That's a little odd. Have you spoiled locations before by using that? I imagine there are hundreds upon hundreds of scuba shops among the world's island nations...

Ususally you get three answers...one they tell yu what part of the island they are filming on and their guides can work around it. Two they tell you they have herd nothing and are not filming there, or three you get No response to a bussiness related inquiry to multiple dive shops which is what we have here. No one will answer and I am wanting to dive:). This is their bread and butter. They are hard up for cash. I think they are in lock down

The tsnami put the Indian Ocean on hold. Thinking like Burnett and wanting the new HD format with beautiful 18 year old model types on a deserted Island after a ruff and ready Gabon series makes sence and Burnett just visited India which is right next door. I don't think there will ever be a Survivor India (what the hell would you eat....sand?) Burnett loves wierd cultures and helping Island people out. These people need HELP. Here we come to save the day!!!!!!!!!

Posts: 48 (08/29/08 5:11 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	i think after going to a place like Gabon, going to a place like the Maldives--where there isn't much history or wildlife to play off of--could cause season 18 to do pretty poorly in the ratings, and the hype. i think a place like Madagascar or the Philippines would be a better choice. And then inland India for season 19. Ranthambore National Park would be great. They have rhino and tigers everywhere.
