Actually, I never have...I've thought about it before...I have Adobe Audition, which allows you to layer multiple tracks and sounds and to blend them together, fade them....whatever....to my heart's desire...I guess the only real problem is that I don't have anything to work with...but I just may do something one day!

Oh you must teach me how to use that to take out the voices over the music...I would so love to refine all of those tracks I've ripped from previous seasons but with the voices still in them!

There is a trial version available at www.adobe.com. I think you can use it for 30 days and then you must purchase it. Play around with it - it's fun!

When you download the TribalCouncil thing on RealOne it says its Tribal Council #1 but its really Tribal Council #3 because if you turn it up loud enough you can hear Big Tom.

SurvivorFire is it possible for you to get a track from Survivor 7? I really want the rite of passage music, but i guess youd have to lower the volume heaps right cause of all the talking.. If you can get that that would be sweet as.

SurvivorFire, great job on getting the commentary down on S8 tribal council. Is there anyway to completely take out the voice track? I will try to download it and mess around with it as well.

Most mastered tracks are already flattened (CD tracks, for example). However, since the track I am using is probably NOT mastered, it is a little easier to take out the voices without losing much of the music quality. This is probably due to the fact that Russ sends the scored music for each episode to the editors and the editors then lay the voices, sounds during the show, etc. on top of the score. As far as Survivor 7, the quality of video I have for that is less than good, so I'm not sure it would even be worth it. Sorry! Enjoy everything!

That's cool. Sounds too complicated to even conceve. That Adobe Audition thing is pretty cool, none of the features are really available though i dont think, not quite sure how to use it yet..

SURVIVORFIRE, when the FTP software prompts something like.... login or password incorrect, what does that mean? does it mean that there are too many people connected to the server... or is there really something wrong with the login/password. (btw, i double checked all the info required :IP Address/port/username/password). thanks.

Hey survivorfire... can you get the S7 pirate pipe music on the first episode of that season where they give each tribe member the buffs. I love that part.

Russ just released the Combat Missions soundtrack. Here are some tracks that are on Survivor:
#2 Combat One- Used during opening episode of All-Stars (very very beginning when show first came on air) #8 Upon this Hill- I can't rememeber exaclty which season but I do remember it. I think it might have been played before a tribal council? S2? Maybe #9 Bolero- Used before/during a challenge? I kinda remember it being used #10 Riverbed- I think used at night after a tribal council? I can't remeber but it sounds familiar. |
