Hey guys... I cannot believe that we get to see/hear the new theme in 3 days!!!!!! But, I don't know, I am having a sinking feeling about this one....
Gabon's theme was one of the worst in my opinion.. i have tried my best to like it but it aint working. I think my dislike of the theme also has to do with
how bland and boring the video was... which is surprising because Micronesia and China were one of the best in terms of song and visuals... I have a feeling
that Tocantins's theme will be a mix of Gabon, Fiji, and Guatemala... I am hoping it is more like Cook Islands, Micronesia, China, or even Vanuatu. As some
of you have already pointed out, the beginning part of the Tocantins preview will most probably be the begining part of the actual theme, which actually makes
me worry. I just wish the song will have good beats.....
Anyways, I have emailed Russ the pst couple of years with questions, etc and he always replies back. So I was thinking that we could all just come up with our own questions about the current/past seasons and put them all together and send it to him. Anyone want to do it? |

I agree with survivorready. When i first heard gabon i thought it sounded like something magically demented would do if he had a studio. No offense russ or md.

I liked the Fiji theme also. idk why so many people hate it. try listening to it a couple times to here some of the really cool things russ added into it. Like
the part where Jessica come in it is accented more than it is in the others. And some of the backround things sound rly neat and tropical.

the only part i like is when they show sylvia rocky boo and stacy....but other than that fiji wasnt go good! ive tried to like it but i think the season ruined

my top 4:
Africa - so revolutionary at the time, everything in it was new even the chanting and orchestration and it felt so well crafted. China - brought a totally different vibe to the theme reminiscent of Thailand's but what made it so awesome was the lyrics in Chinese, added to the old chinese folk song that was sung throughout. Pearl Islands - the whole theme was so dramatic and theatrical. A perfect representation of the awesome season that it was in. Micronesia - gave the same feeling as the PI theme but at the same time it felt so epic, would make for a great all-stars theme. oh can anyone cut me a version of the Micronesia theme made to sound like it was for a 16 castaways season? like the same structure a regular theme would have |
