Music of the Baka Pygmies of Gabon and Cameroon.
Link Nice background music to surf by if you open a second window. I especially like the water drum. I could see Russ Landau incorporating the music of the pygmies in the theme. .. or not. Maybe he'll go the French Afro route rather then Baka. |

Okay, I'm going only through some of the samples on iTunes and here are some SURVIVOR ones:
Celtic Heart- Jenna's bye bye music Tree Mail- the name is from survivor, idk tho if this was from an episode (i can't remember) China Reggae- from survivor china where jean robert talks to todd in the 1st episode (not on the china soundtrack :P) Those are the only ones I recognized. If you find anymore on the soundtrack let me know. |

Yodel Joe - from season 2 when the scene changes to the auction for food
Cloud Deceiver - used in seasons 1 and 2 as background music for scenic shots and the name implies (possibly) Cave People - used in season 1 and 2 (possibly) for the same reason as above and for when the shot changes from day to night etc. Spaghetti - is definitely from season two. I think it is used when Colby was talking or when Elisabeth was talking in an interview. |

It's the urer sound used at the beginning of the theme. If you're still not sure it's the first sound you hear in Borneo.
