Regarding the FCC, the networks have been taking these indecency cases to court lately and have been winning. (The one about ABC airing Saving Private Ryan was particularly stupid.) It's reached the point where the Supreme Court is supposed to make a ruling on the legality of these heavy fines soon. Let's hope the white hairs in the Harry Potter robes come down on the side of common sense for a change. Television comes with these wonderful options called an off button, channel button and parental controls these days. This shit shouldn't even be an issue. |
