That being said, there are two points where Big Brother is su[perior to Survivor.
1- Character developement. Because the time period is much longer and because it's on 3 times a week, you really get to know everyone and you become much more invested in the poeple than you do on Survivor. Those you like, you will really be rooting for them and will be devastated when they get booted and of course, those you hate, you will really despise and pray week after week that they booted, making it much more satisfying when it happens. It's practically impossible not to have an opinion about those people.
2- The sporadic booting order. Survivor seems to have set pattern of the booting order. In most seasons, the first to be taken out are usually the weak ones who don't contribute to challenges or camp life or the oddballs who just don't fit in and create trouble around camp. Then we get to the merge where all the strong people get targetted. In BB, anyone can go at anytime for infinite reasons. People you think will coast through the game can find themselves on the block and out the door at any given time. Whereas on Survivor, if someone isn't a threat, they will most likely make the end game. There are no Pagonings because the outsiders CAN get power. On Survivor if your alliance crumbles, it'a about a million times harder to recover from it, which in many cases, even the average viewer can guess who will be going sooner than later.
