FAKIN' IT
The Only Living Boy in New York For Emily, Wherever I May Find Her I insist you get these three. I also really like "Overs" for the "and I'm habitually feeling kinda blue, but each time I try on the thought of leaving you..." part, but I was high when I first noticed it so I don't know if it will have the same effect for you. |

I love the Emily song.
S&G were a staple in my house growing up. I still love them. Of course, so were Kenny Rogers, Roger Whitaker, Nana Mouskouri and Tony Orlando and Dawn, so it's not like my parents had good taste. |

That 1944 song used to make me bawl like a baby. Probably still would if I listened to it.
And New World in the Morning rocks. |

I was partial to his whistling numbers. Great for dancing around the living room in a nightgown. At least they were when I was 8.
My mom took me to see him in Vegas when I was in 4th grade. She audibly gasped when it was announced that Red Skelton was in the audience. I am so ashamed. |

Paul Simon only:
Graceland. Diamonds on the soles of her shoes. You can call me Al. And the one that makes me cry: Father/Daughter song. Simon & Garfunk: I am a rock. |

I made my mom a CD last year for her birthday with a bunch of her favorite songs on it. I still have a bunch of them on my computer, and I listen to some of
them when no one else is home. Who's ashamed now?
Plus, I'm jealous you got to go to Vegas in 4th grade!! |
