I'm not big on fish besides the occasional walleye but I LOVE LOVE LOVE sea Bass. I don't like haddock, I assume it has something to do with the skin being on it, it grosses me out. And I don't like salmon, its too fishy. Trout's texture just plain sucks, I like flaky fish. recommend some mild white fish similar to sea bass that I may like! please? After about a month, the nasty fish taste becomes unnoticeable in both the oil and all types of fish. Now I eat almost every fish I can find and it's all good. Except for mackerel.

Flounder, halibut, and sole are very mild....halibut is the meatiest. Rainbow Trout has almost no fishy taste, but it must be super super fresh. Don't eat swordfish if you are pregnant or may become pregnant.....loaded with mercury. Hey wait......BEEP IS PREGNANT?????????

Halibut is semi-firm and very mild, you'd probably enjoy it. I'd put mahi-mahi in this category too. Grilled Halibut steak (YUM!) will have bones and skin but they come out easily once cooked. However, if you want a really mild, flaky fish, go for red snapper, sole, or tilapia. I'm not wild about cod myself, it's a texture thing, I dunno...
