1) Michael - He finally displayed some of the potential he showed in Hollywood.
2) Kristy - The most clever song choice. Considering that she actually sung it well was a bonus. 3) Chikezie - I thought he was underrated. He probably sealed his fate with his performance, though. 4) David C. - He was OK, but he's starting to bore me. 5) Carly - Other than that last note and the backup singers being too loud, this was solid. 6) Brooke - Interesting take. The band ruined it. 7) Syesha - Overrated. Those high notes are ear-piercing and she struggles on the low notes. 8) David A. - WTF was that? Is his father picking his songs for him. 9) Jason - I don't think that's a good song on AI. Plus, he's giving off the impression that he isn't trying very hard. 10) Ramiele - Her poor song selections continue. Picking a song that was considered a previous contestant's signature moment and not even coming close is a recipe for disaster. Brain: Chikezie Heart: Syesha Gut: Ramiele |

1. David C.--Great performance. I am not sure that it was Billie Jean, but he sang it really well and it was interesting.
No one else deserves praise, but if I have to rate them... 2. Syesha--She has a nice voice, but there is nothing special there. 3. Brooke--I find her sweet and different. But it was a little boring. 4. Chikeze--He has a nice voice, but there is nothing special there. 5. Michael--Do not take on Freddy Mercury unless you have bigger chops. Not bad, but not great. 6. Jason--I am sure he should be lower, but he is one of the few that I think can sing better than he does. And he cracks me up. 7. Carly--Am I the only one who finds her singing to hurt my ears? She reminds of Yelly when she over-yells/sings, but she doesn't have the vocal ability. 8. Kristy--Blatent pandering makes me puke. 9. Ramiele--Ugh, and the only reason she is not last in my ratings is that she at least has some personality. 10. David A.--What was that song? Reminded me a school talent show. 1. David C. Undeniably the greatest of the night, but some people won't like how he angsted that up and may be offended he did a cover of a cover but I
still loved this.
2. Kristy Lee Cook. (RANT) Now I'm getting sick and tired of people hating her for pandering. Yes, she pandered to me and guess what, I like to be pandered too occasionally if you do it well! :) I can see where people would think that she was being calculated and perhaps kissing up in a big way, and I totally understand you guys. But I don't hate her for doing it, it's good to see a strategist on AI who actually picks good songs at good times. People like David A seem to be choosing songs by using a blind monkey throwing darts at a corkboard. (Special note to West Coast Lawyer, hey screw off did you ever hear of the USO? Kristy could be a Marine, she kickboxes y'know, but maybe God put her on this earth because she can do more for the troops by singing and being pretty, did you ever think of that? Morale wins wars too. ) 3. Syesha-- I thought she had the third best vocal, that's why she's third. 4. Carly-- Traditional rendition but I thought she hit the right notes and wasn't too boring. Can you wear sleeves now? 5. Brooke-- Fifth based on my love for her being and old soul. She makes me love her every week. However, it didn't seem like she really understood the song and I just didn't find the whole piano in a bar interpretation to be that good. She needs to find her upbeat side again and realize we love her when she is sweet and bubbly. 6. Michael-- I agree a tad uninspiring but I feel like he did finally show something out there and for that he deserves #6. 7. Jason-- Boring with a capital B, but darnit it's so cool that he doesn't seem to care about winning and he takes criticism so well, plus I think he's a pothead. I would love to see him stay a few more weeks just because he adds a vibe to the show that makes it down to earth. Please sing some Willie Nelson next week! 8. Chikeze-- It's like someone crossed Luther Vandross and Neil Diamond. Lounge singer meets cheesy R&B. This guy belongs in Vegas as the opening act for Michael Bolton. 9. Ramiele-- I feel like it's her time to go, she doesn't seem connected to me, she has to niche, she doesn't even seem to have a big island presence, I feel like the tour is good enough. 10. David A.-- He sung a Australian song before KLC sung her USA song, well, he just got pwned! B--Ramiele H--Chikieze G--Jason |

2. Michael Johns. Took a difficult song and artist, and did not disgrace himself. After snoozing thru the previous performances, his woke me up. 3. Syesha. I really liked her this week, but I'm feeling like she doesn't have more to offer. She's competent but not standout. 4. Brooke. Now this one DOES have more, but she seems afraid to show it. Her performances are feeling a tad same-y. 5. Jason. Adorable. He's just happy to be here, and I'm happy to enjoy him being here even if he's not BIG & BOLD. 6. Kristy. Yeah, she pandered, but given it was a song from their birth year, it was one of the better choices for that kind of statement. It was the right time to pander, in my view, and I'm Canadian. 7. Carly. I'm just tired of her. 8. Chikezie. Just a regular performance from him is dull. Maybe that will make it more difficult for him but finding interesting ways to reinvent songs should be his #1 priority. Being boring is not going to work for him. 9. Ramiele. She's a singer by numbers. This bit loud, this bit soft, that bit really loud, then another soft bit. Zzz. Bye now. 10. Archilizard. I know he isn't going anywhere this week, but I would love it if he landed in the B3. I'm really tired of him. But then I'm not a teeny-bopper. B3: Brain: Chikezie, Ramiele, Kristy Heart: Archilizard, Carly, Ramiele Gut: Jason, Chikezie, Carly My pick to leave: Ramiele. |

1. David Cook -- Probably wisest of all of them when it comes to song choices.
2. Carly -- not nearly as screamy as Syesha. Decent performance, not great, but not worthy of the criticism she got. She did seem a bit nervous to me. I'm pulling for her. 3. Michael Johns -- I actually remembered him. 4. Syesha -- listen to the playback. She yells every bit as much as she has on any other number. She's only in my top five b/c the others suck more. And who covered this in the 80s? I can only recall Gladys' fantastic version. 5. Kristy -- she has a better voice than Brooke, but I hate that she chose that hokey piece of pap of a song. 6. Brooke -- she really is looking crazy at times. Vocal was just meh. 7. Chikezie -- Better than he got credit for, but I don't like the song. 8. David A -- lord, what a piece of crap song. I should've figured it came from the pen of Foster. 9. Ramiele -- she's just not good. 10. Jason -- there's just no point. B: Jason H: Jason G: Chikezie |

1. Michael 2. David Cook 3. Chakezie 4. Syesha 5. Brooke 6. Carly ((BIG gap)) 7. David Archdemon 8. Jason 9. Ramiele 10. KKKristy-loathsome pandering, and not
sung very well either besides the glory note at the end. Jason's stoner routine is getting very tedious by now. Bottom 3: Ramiele (boot), Jason (bottom 2),
KKKristy (out of the bottom 2, and into the bottom 3!)
