In the ASS challenge that Ethan was blamed (or rather, took the blame) for losing for Mogo Mogo, he and Boston Rob had to go out and get the paddles from the
middle of the jungle. Instead of untying them right there, Rob just brought them as is back to the tribe. I can't remember whether it was spelled out in
the rules that the runner had to untie them where they found them though.

The same way a physical challenge favors a man or the final immunity challenge in Guatemala favored a tall person. I'm sure theres more...Um, you mean like the Final IC in Exile Island where they had to balance on progressively smaller floats to where Aras and Terry weren't even above water, meanwhile, former gymnast Danielle stood there easily? |

Mhm. There's also the fact that Terry's platform was affected by the waves much more than Aras's was. Aras' platform had the waves already
broken by both Terry and Danielle's platforms by the time they reached his, so I'd imagine he had a much easier time dealing with it than Terry did.
The producers kind of shot themselves in the foot with their intended Terry win on that one.

Just looking at the final challenge for EI, you knew it was Danielle's to win. I wanted Terry to win that season... almost weeped when I saw the F3
challenge. Just glad Aras beat her in the final 2.
Side note: Remember the RC on the previous day? Jeff said the reward would help with the next immunity challenge... and the reward was a heavy meal, if I remember correctly. How is a reward that makes you heavier going to be an advantage in a challenge that favors somebody light with a small frame? |

It was definately a refreshing change to see a women-centric challenge at the end of EI after the prior 6 had all been tilted towards a man winning them.

Borneo: Pure Endurance
Australia: Trivia Africa: Pure Endurance Marquesas: Pure Endurance Thailand: Pure Endurance Amazon: Tilted Toward Players With Lower Body Weights Pearl Islands: Pure Endurance All-Stars: Pure Endurance Vanuatu: Endurance And Arm Strength Palau: Pure Endurance Guatemala: Pure Endurance Exile Island: Balance And Low Body Weight Cook Islands: Pure Endurance Fiji: Upper Body Strength China: Balance And Strategy Two challenges have been somewhat unfairly tilted towards women, two have been somewhat unfairly tilted towards men. |

I don't know if this counts as a loophole, but in the very first challenge of PI, Sandra/Christa/Rupert talked on the commentary about how they were ahead
and wanted the Morgans to help clear the path, so that caused a hold up in the race. Apparently Jeff got mad at the Drakes too, which is pretty hypocritical
seeing as he said that whoever was ahead controlled how fast it would go. Still, I don't think production intended great stalling.

The PI challenge was favored towards those with low body weight, or as Lil would say, those who do "squats."

I always felt that Aitu cheated during the Ep. 8 IC of Cook Islands. They were supposed to use the target + cannonball mechanism to release their puzzle
pieces. Instead they just dropped the cannonballs right through the hole manually.
Still, it was stupid for Raro to not copy their strategy. |

Oh my bad. I meant those who have a lower center of gravity, which kinda favors women.Correct, but wasn't Lill taller than Sandra (thus higher CoG)? ANY balance challenge favors lower centers of gravity, but this one, with the waves making the platforms unstable, also required leg strength (as do most "endurance" challenges). |

When I saw that challenge I remember thinking "some surfing dude would kick ass at this challenge". And then 8 seasons later, Aaron shows up in China
and they don't even have a challenge similar to that at all, lol.

I would say that only Borneo's 'Hand on Idol' was pure endurance. For Africa/Mar/All Stars the players had to lean foward, putting their wieght on
their hands and be balanced. Ethan and Kathy's eliminations from that challenge were both due to losing their balance. Cook Islands was just as much about
balance (in the later stages) as it was about endurance. Van/Fiji were tilted towards stronger men. Panama's was very much balance. In Guatemala's
final challenge, they didn't actually tell them they could lean against the post did they? I mean Jeff didn't say and they just seemed to stumble upon
doing that.
