What other instances of finding loopholes, or circumstances not covered, have there been?
Wasn't it in ASS that Boston Rob's team had somebody step onto a balance beam and immediately drop into the water so his turn would come back up faster? Good thinking, and I really don't think the challenge designers considered it. It seems like there were lots of challenges in seasons prior to that where each team member had to do something, in relay fashion. But I don't recall anybody intentionally failing so that their turn was over faster.
Or, I don't remember which season, but there was a challenge where they had to throw water from one person to another. Midway through that one, players started wringing out their clothing into the buckets. The objective was clearly to *throw* water from one bucket to the next.
This is borderline cheating to me, but I guess it wasn't covered in the rules, so call it a loophole, and call it good thinking.
And how about Aras visiting two stations in one trip during the famous Wambulance challenge? I totally agree with Terry, but again, it wasn't in the rules, so call it a loophole and call it good thinking.
Maybe even Ozzy (in Micronesia) moving several coconuts to the end of the cage on his turn? We can debate it all day whether the challenge designers thought of this possibility. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't. But it still looks pretty loophole-ish, and pretty brilliant (by whoever thought of it, not necessarily Ozzy).
Others?
