She was trying hard to not fall in her own way, but if you are collapsing inside, there's nothing to stop it. She tried during the challenges. The others had their friends, she was isolated from early on, and they did not have session after session on exile island with even less shelter, less food, less water on a tribe that was already not eating for days. I just hated the way the other women stood there--hello! perhaps this is part of her problem if you really wanted her to stay.

Just because the show didn't show it doesn't mean it didn't happen. ETA: I think the idea she cut off her fingers was from repetition and joking. Also who knows who told the story first with what level of dramatic exaggeration. The bandaids were actually on Alexis' fingers, though -- not Kathy's. Huh. Good work on the PBP, ladies!

Her decision to leave seemed extremely rational but I've never see JP be so GENTLE with someone wanting to quit. He wasn't that was with Janu. And he certainly wasn't gentle with Osten.Was that his name? In Pearl Islands? ___________________________________________________________________ Yes, I do feel something was up. Maybe we'll find out. We saw SOMEbody, a female, with bandages on their fingers holding hands with another female castmate. But some people thought that was Allexis and Natalie holding hands... ___________________________________________________________________ Great episode for Ami FINALLY! I really have a great deal of affection for that woman. And BOY! Is she a playah! Tracy was, too. She went out fighting. ___________________________________________________________________ And no matter what they show us, we see the Faves' voting holding together very solidly on NuMalakal to say the least. ___________________________________________________________________ Ozzy keeps getting targeted IN THE PROMOS and then nothing happens! ___________________________________________________________________ However, I LURV the Ozzy/Eric love story developing with cocanuts and camera shots up through the shorts! And Ozzy talking about "That guy's gut NUTS!" Survivor at its finest. They do make a lovely couple... ___________________________________________________________________ And we begin to see Amanda starting to really fall in love for him...She begins to really sink...But at least AT LAST she's beginning to develop some dimension... ___________________________________________________________________ And Cirie certainly did seem evil at times...But again, we're always shown that she's JUSTIFIED. ___________________________________________________________________ And STILL she can't get Ozzy out....But he and Eric are AN ADORABLE COUPLE!

James may just be a nicer person, or it may be that he has experience being around people crazy/grief-stricken. But yeah, compared to like Gary, Probst didn't even show up for that one, did he?

The music was very sympathetic. The only other time they were so nice to a quitter was to Jenna when her mother died. I just hope she's ok now.

And Probst was not very kind or caring there, either....NOT AT ALL. And her tribesmates which included Deena(better known as TrialDawg) and I think also the eventual winner Jenna Morasca where on that tribe BEGGING her to stay. This quartet of Gilmore grrrls were MORE THAN HAPPY to see her go! It seemed no one wanted to her to stay. Not even for strategic reasons. ______________________________________________________________________________________ And did I not see Jason embracing and kissing Eliza after their immunity win. ______________________________________________________________________________________ And all this Ellexis is the winner non-sense! Well, maybe not here, but elsewhere, people are just like Ellexis had a confessional! It means she's the winner! Thank you ladies, for the wonderful PBP. ----------- I don't hold anything againt Kathy for quitting. Not everyone is able to play this game. She gave it her best shot. As JP has said, you get out of this game what you put into it. What she discovered is how she made choices and lived for other people That she might now make more choices for herself, knowing what's important to her is far more important than a million dollars, if you are only going to spend the money based on other people's choices. Winning the millions is not the only form of winning in this game. Amanda does see through Ozzy. Back to the Cirie/Parvati/Amanda alliance formed on the raft. From Eliza's posts HERE, we know now LEANN was the core of the S9 Female Alliance and Ami more the flaky, alienating fence-sitter that probably RUINED it. That was Chris's view. Leann was the one who brought Julie into the alliance and the two of them pushed Ami to keep Chris which is how that alliance snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Eliza has always been very pro-Ami. Saw her as nurturing and kind. I think she was closer to Ami. than Leann. Ami problem's is that she isn't close with Cirie. Voted for her ep.3. Cirie\Ami\Tracy could have voted off Eric tonight if they wanted. Cirie doesn't like Tracy much either, and dissed her last episode. Now Ozzy\Amanda\Eric have the votes to boot Ami regardless.

I think she may have ATTEMPTED to do something and maybe someone stopped her.
