This thread prompted me to re-watch S4. Here are a few observations: 1. I was surprised at how visible V was. When I saw the show on TV, I was one of the many people who never really noticed her and was shocked when she won. Re-watching, you see how she appears in pretty much all the epis, even though she never does anything. But EPMB always gives her gratuitous appearances.

2. I hated Boston Rob when I originally watched, but now I understand why people liked him -- he started playing the game right away and always gave fun confessionals. If I didn't know what a douchebag he's become post-S4, I might even like him. . .

3. Kathy is, quite possibly, the most annoying human being ever. I hated her when I first watched and I hated her more the second-time through. What a self-absorbed witch.

4. I was surprised at how naive Pappy and Neleh were at F5. There was never any discussion of how the jury might vote -- ie, they should have known the Rotu 4 would be inclined to vote against them. That would have been a good reason to vote off Shawn and V.

5. Neleh got her butt whipped by V at the final TC, but remember Neleh was only like 19-20 (?). She's awfully young. Also, the second time through I notice that Neleh is awfully pretty -- until she opened her mouth!

6. Zoe was creepy beyond words. She really thought she was brilliant and beautiful. Ewww. Just.... ewww!

7. John made the classic blunder of 'being in charge', but I liked him a lot more during the second viewing. He was playing hard to win, which I respect more than the Pappy-Neleh-Gabe attitude of "I'm here for the experience" or the Hunter-Gina attitude of "the most atheletic person should win."
