Reading everyone's comments about this topic has gotten me to rethink my position on Simon and the pimping. I guess I'm not noticing it cause he is
pimping my favourite but I guess if I hated Archie, I'd notice it too. Be it that everyone mostly kinda sucked tonight but I get where all your points are
made from.
I guess I didn't realize how subtly manipulative Simon is. Reading some stuff on here, I'm kinda noticing stuff from the past too. I still don't think he is Nigel's bitch 100% but I think he tries to sway it his way based on what I'm reading here. I guess Taylor is his Archillie's Heel in terms of getting his way, that's why he still has a boner over it. I retract my earlier post on this topic on the basis of reading over the thread more carefully. |

I swear to god this is what Simon does. The top 24 is picked... by the producers or possibly by the judges... im not gonna touch that one.. but he takes a big
table or chart and predicts how the next 23 eliminations will go. He then tries his best to critique people so they place were he predicted they would. If he
can get them with-in a week or two of his predictions he did a good job. He really has no interest in what America wants, but despite the winner in the end he
will pretend like he knew it would be that way all along.
I mean look at KLK she has been exactly the same the whole time and I would even say her first two performances were much worse than her second beatles performance. So why the harsh critiques now and not during the semis... because it was in his plan to drag the bitch to the finals and then for her to go... he has it all planed out in his head..... |

I used to be that way EJ but this season he's gotten to the point where I can't even justify liking him anymore. I used to be in love with him even
though he was a huge jerk and very obviously tried to manipulate the votes and I even defended him towards the beginning of this season but tonight was like
the last straw with his bullshit.

But I have no big beef this season with him since he's pimping my fav to win, lol.

Notice how SHC didn't have a problem with it when Simon was pimping Carly. Now that he's dropped her like a bad habit this thread gets started.
Not that there's anything wrong with it. We're all biased. But let's just admit that we all don't mind pimping when it's one of our favorites being pimped. |

It's bullshit what he was doing tonight. For everyone who stayed in their comfort zone (David Cook, Amanda) and did well, he criticized them for being
predictable and boring. For everyone who changed it up and did well (Brooke, Carly), he said they sucked.
