Is she a chiropractor? I never would have sent Jonathan to the hospital unless he had 1) a temperature, or 2)and elevated white count. I bet he didn't have either. At surgery, I bet they got out...NOTHING AT ALL! Jonathan had a traumatic injury, sure, but he didn't stay off his feet. All that swelling was the result of venous stasis and a normal physiologic reaction to crushed and cut tissue. He would have been FINE if they would have left him alone. Lose a leg? My ass! What a chickenshit Doctor.

Im no expert on fevers but he looked like he had one. He was coughing while he was talking to James. Im sure they took his tempature while they checked his leg. His leg had gotten infected and it was spreading. You could see that very clearly. It had puss in it. Yuck. Jonathan needed to be taken out for his own sake.

Swelling from venous stasis and from infection look just the same. Jonathan said that his upper thigh hurt a bit, and the "Doc" took that to mean that his inguinal lymph nodes were infected. DID SHE EVEN FEEL THEM? Did he have red tracks up his legs, indicating an ascending infection in his lymphatics? NO! Of course his upper inner thigh hurt- he was dragging that leg around for two days because of the pain. Let's hear from you, Jonathan. Did you have a temperature in the hospital? Did your CBC have a left shift? (NOT just an elevated WBC due to stress response).

How could they question a great Survivor babe "Doctor"? At best, the surgeon probably thought the babe Doc had left a beetle in there or something, or did some sloppy-hell job with minimal sterile technique. Besides, it's an OR procedure and I bet MB paid straight cash for it.
