I agree with SFGP. She was my fave idol in that season.

Vonzell was so pitchy on every performance, and she had absolutely no range whatsoever.

#30. Elliot Yamin Elliot was another fresh face at the top 24. I didn't remember seeing much of him during the auditions/hollywood and was pleasantly surprised at how talented he was. Unpimped males that have talent and the ability to make the top 24 are even harder to find then their female counter parts. Elliot made me see past his Mister Peepers appearance and straight to his heart. He was deaf but could blow, plus he was very very normal.. and so was his ugly family... I'm so impressed he has been able to actually have a hit song on the radio and the makings of a possible career. Too bad his song is like the epitome of every slow R&B love song that I despise, but for being a cool down to earth guy with a good voice he gets #30. |

Elliot and Daughtry should have been the F2, Taylor and Katharine sucked.

#29. Amanda Avila Yes, another fan favorite. Seriously though folks I think she was a very very under-rated semi-finalist. I think she had a really good voice and hot damn... just look at her... HOT! She had the whole Jessica Simpson vibe/voice, but she wasn't an annoying bitch, and she had brown hair. I think the judges were pretty shitty to her, but... I dunno maybe I was blinded by her beauty. She is apparently a reality correspondent now which is awesome. I would have much rather had her in the top 12 than a few others, but what can you do? Seriously how can we get her in the top 12? |

Amanda's 'Turn The Beat Around' was one of my favorite Season 4 semi-performances. She should have totally made the Top 12 over Mikalah and
arguably Lindsey. Ugh, token Top 16 shocker boot.

I can't believe Amanda who beat Elliott Yamin.

Amanda was one of my favorite semifinalists in that season, her performance was good in the first two weeks. She was robbed before making it through the top
12.

#28. Marissa Joy/ Sobecki-Engle OMG. I haven't updated my list in forever so I figured I would put a big name in at #28. You may not remember Marissa.... I barely could, but she was on AI3 group 3.... She sang "Some Kind of Wonderful" and that I thought she was. I thought her performance was cool and refreshing and I defo think she should have gotten an invite to the wild card but no dice. She was a pretty girl with a decent voice and liked to straddle the stage like she had to drop a deuce. For making a big impact on me in a few minutes she gets #28. |

#27. Judd Harris I know I keep on bringing the big dogs. I thought Judd was one of the worst and most shocking first boots evah. I really thought his performance was pretty fresh and fun especially for someone we knew nothing about before this point. I also remember a lot of guys doing pretty shitty that night and I believe not many people predicted Judd to go. Judd would have been really cool to watch on the show I think and we really missed out. I would much rather have a cheeseball like Judd with red velevet pants then Constantcrap ick. Poor Judd never saw it coming. For being a pretty good singer and seemingly a cool dude who was ROBBED Judd gets #27. P.S. He sang at his own wedding. |

I hate Judd and he was the second male semifinalist eliminated in a first week of semifinals in that season.

Judd definitely should have gone much further. Possibly the only shocker "top 24 boot", usually it happens at top 16.

#26. Juanita Barber Oh god we were so lucky as Americans to get to witness Miss Juanita Barber. I know Frenchie was great and talented, but I would cut her any day to get the level of entertainment that Juanita delivered. Her performance was terrible in an LOLZ kinda way, but her tude just puts her as a fan favorite who will probably never be matched. She was singing her song to America and "Axing em what about the children". Now everyone knows who Juanita is.. I found out at least. If only VFTW was around back then they could have backed her and she could have went home anyway, but maybe they would have created some nice chops or something. Sadly not all of Juanita's journey can be found on Youtube. I will never forget her dramatic reaction when she was in the final cut room, or the way she helped out Rickey Smith with her infamous strutting boots. Even that other board wrote a whole sitcom with her... Life with Juanita :). |

#25. Janay Castine Oddly I actually had very high hopes for Janay and thought she was gonna be one of the stars of her season. I thought her audition and what they showed of her in Hollywood was great. WOW... the most shocking and upsetting contestant for me ever, but luckily she still was able to bring joy to me in the form of laughter. I just remember cracking up at all her performances. She was soooo bad the faces and the shaking ... she looked like a robot having a seizure. She was so young, sweet, naive and out of control that she was great to watch. By far my favorite AI trainwreck for making me LOL Janay gets #25. Since she is my favorite trainwreck that means the rest of the top 50 are talented... at least in my jaded eyes. |

I liked Janay. She is a talented young singer and I saw her Hollywood audition. She was robbed before top 12 and Mario Vazquez decided to quit.
