Kevin Covias I know I know, but seriously how could you not like Kevin.� He was AI's resident court jester for season 5 and a McLovin prototype.� I actually felt kind of bad for him because they basically told him he looked like a freak and was a loser and encouraged him to laugh about it, but he really took it in stride.� I would have been pissed.� Watching these videos back he truly was pretty terrible, but I didn't find him obnoxious, and I figure if they are going to drag him all the way to the top 24 knowing� his vocal limitations then screw it go as far as you can Gangsta.� :Awkward Moment Kevin Talks About Being A Sex Symbol for 12 Year Old Girls: Last Edited By: Jessfrogger88 03/16/08 8:37 PM. Lounge Lizard guy from Season 4.� He actually was my early favorite.� I thought he sang great and had a cool attitude.� He seemed like a funny normal guy who could sing and just cheesy enough for idol. � Too bad he didn't have a snowball's chance in hell.� With zero face time and the judges stacked against him poor Joe was lucky to make it to the top 20.� Oh wells he seems to be having a good time with his band. Travis rocked... Well at least he did in his audition and Hollywood.� Sadly when he made the top 24 he sang two cheesy songs and countered them with cheesy performances.� There is only one other idol who disappointed me more when they got the semis (You'll See Them Later).� Travis could dance and beatbox (pre-blake) and he was cool especially for a black male who before this were all George Huff, Rickey Smith, Justin Gurweenie types.� Also mad props for not only omitting sob stories but dissing them all together.� Too bad he could have been a contender.

I think he has a bigger chance to succeed over someone like Jacuzzi who will absolutely no market to fulfill.

David Hernandez Poor David Hernadez.� Two years from now are we going to remember his awesome performance of Papa Was A Rolling Stone, or him� gyrating his man meat for old men at "Dick's" (Get iT Dick's).� The reason David made the list was purely his vocals.� I thought he had a pretty decent normal singing voice.� As far as idol he really wasn't gimmicky just a good singer.� Granted good singers without gimmicks rarely last very long in idol and with a bad beatles performance his boot was not a suprise at all.� Sadly based on his interviews he does seem like kind of a douche so it's probably best for him he got booted, because he might have not been on this very important list if he turned to be a cocky dick.� For an awesome streak through the semis David comes in at 39.

Colton Berry Colton really had a tough road.� With one of the strongest groups of guys, no face time and basically being blamed as the guy who held back that nerdy kid from making the final 24 his outlook wasn't strong.� I thought that his first performance was strong enough to take him to the top 20, but I guess America disagreed.� He didn't really have a niche to feel with Archie stealing the tween vote and Danny taking the sassy gay vote he had to struggle to identify himself.� His tactics were singing about teletubbies and comparing his looks to that of a 40 year old lesbian... and this unfortunate pic. �. � Ahhh I know it seems like I've been making a case against the kid, but for the record I thought he was awesome and deserved to go much further.

And I would have put more people from season 1 in but I needed to make room for peeps like Colton. No but like i said i hardly saw any of AI 1 or 6 that is why there are only one of each in the top 40

Kimberly Locke Kimberly was a lock for the top 12 from the moment she opened her mouth. ... I won't do that again, but seriously folks Kimberly although at times I didn't "get" it was a pretty damn good vocalist.� She delivered a few of my all time favorite idol performances, plus her group song with Frenchie was awesome.� AI2 was the season of fatties and she represented for the ladies, and then she went on Celebrity Fat Club and started boning Harvy.� She really has been working out her 15 minutes better than a lot of other finalist and I commend her for it.� Here are a couple of my favorite performances of hers.. New York State of Mind really blew me away and remains one of my all time favs... Apparently she is a singing stripper now ....
