"Hook and Reel"? (I'm not even bothering to squint, just guessing.) Surely there's another round, it isn't just Ozzy swims out, does the
challenge, then everyone pulls him back in? Although that could explain the arrogance comment, if he puts himself in like all the roles in a challenge, and
then blows it. I guess Ozzy/Erik would have to be the wing-taking, if they're going with a pride theme.
The never-happened-before comment must be Kathy. Probst doesn't quite look abashed, but he's being a little more sensitive about it than the promos that have her and her filthy tangled hair squatting in a cave gnawing on a raw bat. It will be interesting to see how they play that story. The warm fuzzy version is that it was all too much for Kathy, but she's a true fan and was delighted in the opportunity or some such. There's a darker version that the other people out there actually hurt her. And not all at once, in an accident or momentary lapse, but over a period of weeks. (The fans by being mean, which actually hurt themselves, too, so fine they all got what they deserved. But the faves by being strategic to win a million dollars. Is that fine? Must be, we all lurve us some faves...)

jp seems to be ENJOYING this "Survivor first" which would be Kathy being taken out of there for mental reasons. Then we're being SHOWN the
"Cirie's seeds" (of doubt) scene, with a VERY clean-looking Amanda. ___________________________________________________________________ Since
we're being shown this, I am guessing none of this plays out this episode and that's it's covering for the boot of another person. Seems to be
Tracy next. But this episode yet AGAIN seems to be all about NuMalakal. ___________________________________________________________________ "The wide-eyed
kid in the candy store" could be Eric, when "proud" Ozzy takes him under this wing...Again all NuMalakal ALL THE TIME...Does Ozzy thrown this
challenge to get rid of Tracy/Ami? Sounds unlikely...He said in the last episode that he hates to keep losing. He's not used to this.

Ozzy still has Amanda. I can't see him taking anyone under his wing, just yet, especially since they 'get it on' this ep.
James, on the other hand, seemed to be counting on Jonathan's social skills to carry him. He's too chauvinistic to take in one of the women's, so that leaves Jason. |

Tribe picks Jason to go back to Exile Is. and Ozzy becomes the asshole by telling Tracy to go to EI to "take one for the team" it's a fuckn hair shampoo challenge and he doesn't let the girl enjoy it. Krazy Kathy goes off and Jeff removes her (Those are Alexis's fingers in the CBS video preview not Kathy's - Alexis hurts them in the blind folded wheel challenge - jams them in a tree and thinks she broke her pinky finger) Airai wins IC By Tracy - will miss those nipples.

I think birdlady nailed it: Maybe it's not afraid of water so much as being uncomfortable in a small boat away from land? It's all in your head, obviously, but there are definitely folks who swim just fine in the pool or water where they can see the bottom, but get freaked out in a deep lake.I'm guessing then that it was Tracy that tricked her, since she is the predicted boot. Don't mess with Cirie this season. |

(That is, who still think the idol is out there?) Maybe Cirie is secure enough now she's not going to bother, but Ami and Erik should both feel like they need it. Has everyone snooped through Ozzy's things? Does Jason (or Chet) have credibility that we're not being shown? Does the choice of Jason rather than Kathy tip everyone that Ozzy does in fact have the idol? It's too bad the idea of exiling people from both tribes together hasn't played out at all this season. |
