The good news is that yesterday, the Natspos scored about 2 weeks worth of runs for them, so I expect nothing less than 2 shutouts from the Canadian
Connection. Oh, and Lou, would it kill you to take the double play king out of the #3 spot in the linup?

After next week, the Mets and Sillies will have played 16 games (if I heard that right) and Cole Hamels will have only pitched 1 game out of those 16.
I find that very hard to believe. |

The truth of the matter is the Phillies have been giving Hamels an extra days rest whenever possible.
Right now he's at one hundred and eighty some innings for the year which is the most he's ever pitched in his young career so far. Yes that's a lot for this time of year and they simply want to keep him fresh for the playoff run and the post season. Besides, we've beaten the Mets two out of three times $antana has started. Once with some guy named AJ Happ. We don't consider it a big deal. The Mets obviously do as they traded half their viable farm system and spent 160 million dollars on one guy for a better chance to beat us. It's pretty funny actually even though it is his normal spot in the rotation. Earlier in the season that wasn't the case though. It's speaks of the Mets continuing inferior complex with us highlighted with last years exclamation mark. |

A far better day at Wrigley this afternoon compared to yesterday. I think I've seen most of Mark DeRosa's homers this season. Great pitching from
Dempster. He certainly has been one of the more pleasant surprises this year. I agree with D Lee's DP crown getting worrisome and Fukudome is no longer my
homie. 21/9 for the season with only five more games to go(in the regular season).

I'm annoyed the Sillies kept moving him up to avoid the Mets (as they have done twice so far)uh the last time they didnt move him up...moving him up wouldve made him pitch vs the mets. he wouldve been on his regular rest to start the game after the all star break but in order to not mess up the rotation they pitched him in his normal spot. |
