Nice pics. Is the park as small as it looks? It looks like a little league field.

The last two pics are at McKechnie Field - yeah it's small. Foul balls hit cars on the street, and little hoodrats park you in their front yards for $5 OBO. There's nothing like Al Lang Field though. It's the top pic, but you can't see anything. This is the last year that the Rays will play spring games there, and they hope to build that shiplike stadium on the site for regular season games. We'll see if they get that one through. |

Al Lang Field is the old Mets spring training park.
Good to see it's still being used. |

Ah, the Yankees. A fine orginazation. Steeped in deep and rich tradition, they are poised at the forefront of baseball history. With their record number of
championships and their timeless classic pin stripe uniforms, tbey are the team all other teams strive to be. They make me proud to be a baseball fan. Jobu
looks like he has passion for his craft, and i wish him excellence in the upcoming season.

Following the proud example of the Yankees, the Phillies signed Sly Stallone to be their conditioning coach on a 1 day contract.
Any Phillie who makes it to the top of the steps is permitted to do the Jose Reyes dance. |

Is "conditioning coach" the new "HGH supplier"?

Jose Reyes is a fine young exciting player. With his speed and flair for the game, he sets a proud example for others to follow. His smile and his love for the
game is contagious.

Sam Zell needs to fuck off and die. I expect the Cubs team to suck so I had no real hopes for what the ownership would do in terms of players but this fuck
wants to rename Wrigley Field, put in luxury boxes and make the taxpayers pay for it. Bitch is just asking to be cut.

Oh that's such fucking bullshit. It's not like the Cubs are some impoverished franchise that MUST HAVE these stadium improvements and naming rights to
sustain their existence. This franchise can sign whoever they want and whether they win a championship or not has nothing to do with how many luxury boxes Zell
squeezes into the stadium or how much he can squeeze out of taxpayers to pay for those improvements.
If the key to the Cubs winning was pissing away their home field's traditions and going after naming rights then how exactly was it the Boston Red Sox won without fucking with Fenway? It couldn't be because they simply had more competent management and better luck than the Cubs, could it? |
