Theres no question in my mind that the offense will come out of this funk. The only question is, how far will they let the Brewers and/or Cardinals run before they do.Switch Brewers/Cardinals for Mets/Marlins and you have the Phillies of about a month ago. So maybe you just need to find a team with a closer by committee for a game to get you out of your funk lol
I'll tell you why Manuel made the switch (in addition to Johan being a pussy and not caring about pitching the 9th). The next three batters (at the time Dobbs wasn't announced as a PH for Feliz) would be able to hit righty, and Johan is a lefty while Duaner is a righty. he was simply doing the OMG righties hit lefties better than they hit righties and our best bullpen pitcher tonight is a righty so lets go to him! btw the big mistake was taking out smith...hes the only guy in your bullpen we cant hit (well unless reyes fucks up).
the sad thing is i did end up walking/running to shea after they made me park at the hall of science lol...i drove because i picked up a friend in queens and we shared the parking $$, and because the only train i could take would get in around 445 and thats a little too early. im trying to get a ride tonight cause theres no chance in hell i'm doing that ever again. if not ill just take the train i guess.
May I ask why you drove to the game? I'd rather walk to Shea than pay $15 for parking.

my sister gets to see carlos carrasco pitch tonight for double A while i get to see brett myers pitch in the majors...something is wrong there. dont expect maine to pitch a complete game though, hell do his usual 100 pitches in 5 innings again.
