Dammit. That was the inning to jump on the board.
Also, sports commercials depress me. Do men nowadays really need hydrating body wash? Whatever happened to that Irish spring guy or being Zestfully clean? |

Hawk would have had a much better call on that retarded double play.

Now the Cubs and Sox can go back to normal, routine baseball. |

The only way I might worry about the Brewers in the long term is if they manage to land Sabathia. |

Fuck the motherfucking Cards.
And there's no way the Cubs can win the division without a healthy Soriano, Zambrano and Fukadome (imagine the Brewers without Sheets, Fielder and Braun). Currently on pace to finish 89-73. Will that be good enough to get into the playoffs? At this point I would guess that chances are only about 40% that 89 wins gets you into the playoffs. 93 wins tips the scales the other way IMO. Do the Brewers need to go out and get another player? Or can the current roster get them there? It's a tough call to make at this point in time. Here is where Melvin earns his money. There is no way that the Cardinals and the Cubs both win more than 89 games. The wheels seem to be falling off both those busses IMO.
