I watched the Olympic trials swimming and now I'm watching Camp Rock, I'm ashamed to admit.

Hypothetically, even if the Cubs were to collpase, why to you repeatedly ignore the fact that there is another team sandwiched between the Cubs and Brewers that doesnt seem to be going away? The only way I might worry about the Brewers in the long term is if they manage to land Sabathia.

And there's no way the Cubs can win the division without a healthy Soriano, Zambrano and Fukadome (imagine the Brewers without Sheets, Fielder and Braun). Currently on pace to finish 89-73. Will that be good enough to get into the playoffs? At this point I would guess that chances are only about 40% that 89 wins gets you into the playoffs. 93 wins tips the scales the other way IMO. Do the Brewers need to go out and get another player? Or can the current roster get them there? It's a tough call to make at this point in time. Here is where Melvin earns his money.
