It's a rebuilding year for them. They weren't good enough to be above .500 last year with Haren and Swisher, so there's no reason to think they'll be better without them.

It's all blind optimism for me. But I do have to laugh at Barry Zito giving up 8 runs in an inning AGAIN for the second time this preseason.
