Jason Priestley says he won't be returning to 90210, but he may direct an episode of the show.

Just go on the show already Jason, it's not like you are that busy doing anything else.

It's
official: Brenda is back!
The 2-hour premiere is on September 2nd. Between that and the season premiere of The Shield, it's going to be a great night of TV viewing. |

Tori Wants Dean In 902103 August 2008 7:08 AM, PDT
Actress Tori Spelling has launched a bid to land her husband Dean McDermott a guest spot alongside her in the forthcoming Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off. Filming is currently underway to bring the programme back to the small screen, with stars Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty among the actors reprising their original roles. And according to U.S. tabloid Star, Spelling is desperate to add her actor-husband to the roster. A source tells the magazine: "Tori asked the producers to find a spot for him, maybe a guest-starring role that could turn into something permanent. "Tori would love to work with Dean on 90210. They could carpool to the set and bring their kids." McDermott has previously enjoyed roles in Kevin Costner's 2003 film Open Range and his best-known stint as Constable Turnbull in Canadian TV series Due South. |

I know it's been discussed in this thread, but is anyone (over the age of 12) going to watch the show for any other reason than the people returning? And,
is there an over/under on how many days/weeks/months before Shannen gets fired for being a problem?

Definitely over 12, and I can't imagine watching it for any other reason. And I give Shannen about 5 weeks before she starts causing trouble, and 5 months
before she's gone.

Sorry, but I left 90210 believing Dylan & Kelly lived happily ever after. Now we're supposed to believe they got a divorce and things didn't work
out? Fuck spinoffs/remakes.

I think this is going to be a huge flop. The new promos are focusing only on Brenda and Kelly. The new cast is already being overshadowed. Older viewers
have moved on to other things, and younger viewers don't care about 90210.

The new promos are focusing only on Brenda and Kelly. As it should be. Younger viewers don't even know what 90210 is. Older viewers want the old 90210 back and don't care about the new kiddies. We want Kelly, Donna, and Brenda! Of course it's going to flop. |

Wait so are Kelly, Brenda, and Donna going to be in all of the episodes, or just a cameo in the first episode? r what's going on? If they're going to
actually be a part of the show then I'd watch but if not... then no.

As far as I've heard, they're just putting them in dumbass cameos to try to get old fans to watch the new little kiddie version of the show.

Brenda won't appear until like the 4th or 5th episode. Last I heard she is going to be a drama teacher or going to direct the school play. Yes,
cheesetastic!

Within the first 6 months Tori spelling is going to be kicked off the show. Demands that her husband appear and (I'm sure) wanting the show to center on
her will annoy the producers & they'll boot her ass. She's going to find out it's hard to get cast on a TV show when your daddy isn't
making them put you in it.

Tori Spelling Furious At '90210' Spinoff For Unequal Pay With Jennie & ShannenEXCLUSIVE: The question is whether this is a really smart or really stupid decision by The CW's boss Dawn Ostroff. I'm told a
contract controversy is preventing Tori Spelling from joining that so-called "edgy, contemporary spin-off" of the '90s hit 90210 on the
network this fall as planned. That's because, for some bizarre reason, Tori is a reality show ratings hit by Oxygen's low standards. (Last Tuesday's Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood was the most watched telecast in the history of that execrable women's cable channel as 1.4 million viewers saw the episode where Tori gave birth to her 2nd child -- which actually took place 5 months ago.) And Spelling wrote a bestselling book besides. Showing once again that it doesn't pay to underestimate the terrible taste of the American public... As for Tori, she has told the media only that the timing didn't work out for her to appear in the 90210 pilot because she was giving birth. "So we'll see what happens later in the season," she said last week on CBS' The Early Show. One insider tells me it wouldn't be surprising if Tori and the show eventually agree to bring her onto 90210 as a November sweeps stunt. Hmm.

Well, her character was pretty much useless in the first place. Too bad daddy isn't there to help her out.

I guess I can understand why she would be pissed. Giving Jennie and Shannen twice as much money per episode is kind of insulting. Then again, Tori is the
least important character of those three. That's just the way it is.
I won't be surprised if Jennie walks off at some point during the season. |

Isn't Jennie Garth the only 'series regular' and Shannen and Tori were 'guest stars'? Wouldn't that make a difference? I dunno, I can
see where she's coming from but nobody watched the original show for her, they watched it for Brenda and Kelly.

Pathetically, I like Tori the best of the three (damn you shitty reality show!) so I kind of have to side with her on this one.
