I was hoping to hate it, but it's okay so far and I'm interested to see where it goes. The only major complaint I have is the fact that all the babies of the former 90210 characters are already in high school. Although the reference to Ahhndrea's daughter looking 30 y.o. was chuckle-worthy.

I can accept Silver (Erin, little half-sis of Kelly) being around 15, since she was probably around 5 or 6 when the original series ended. Previews show Kelly's mom making a cameo next week. I'm guessing she's back to being a drunk and coke addict, thereby turning Erin from an adorable little blonde angel to a dark-haired angry antagonist.

New Brandon is much better than the original. Original Brandon always got on my nerves and if he is the father of Kelly's baby, I'll be irritated.

New Brenda is much prettier than original, but I don't see any bitchiness in her yet. She's a little bland.

Mom & Dad are okay. Like Mom better. Never been a huge fan of Rob Estes.

Kelly <3 The little scenes showing a tiny bit of Kelly's life were of the most interesting to me.

Brenda. Meh introduction. I hope we see more. If Brenda grew into a well-adjusted, mature woman, it will be a HUGE disappointment. Brenda needs to be bitchy, jealous and catty to be enjoyable.

Naomi (New Kelly) is beautiful and bitchy, but looks close to 30 herself. Other than looking much too mature, I can see some great potential there.

New Steve. Still too early to tell. He's starting off an ass, just like original Steve, but he was barely noticeable.

Navid (New Aaaaahndrea) is one of my faves so far.

Silver (New Valerie) is another fave. I loved Valerie, though, so those are big shoes to fill.

Ethan (New Dylan) is okay. He was growing on me as the episode went along, but I don't find him particularly attractive or swoon-worthy, so I don't get that. But pentapus <3.

Now, Ty, on the other hand is gorgeous. He is swoon-worthy. When New Brenda was falling over herself over him, I was expecting to find out his character was gay. I'm actually a little bummed he's straight. He'll probably be a dog and out of the show soon and there will go all my eye candy.

I love Nat, but Nat and the new Peach Pit and "The Pit" were just a bit too much. I can see Kelly & Brenda meeting at Nat's original Peach Pit as a nod to the old, but Nat changing it into a coffee house and having the nightclub "The Pit" was just too much.

I'm keeping it on my DVR recording schedule and see where things go.
