But, I have to say, although Chet is pathetic, he has added some good drama. The fact that he never sticks up for himself but manages to stay around is priceless. Mikey B. and Joel's boot were both funny becuase Chet outlasted them. I'll be sad to see this storyline go.

Seasons 2 through 7 were really good, Season 10 was pretty good too but ASS was the Shark jumping season. This season is just a Shark II season. They call these ex-Survivor losers "Favorites"? Maybe favorites to their families. Anyway, it doesn't really matter who gets voted out. Just get to the final 4 so we can be done with this season.

I thought Season 5 sucked, I don't remember anything from Season 6 and Season 7 was ruined with the outcasts returning. I also thought Season 10 really sucked. It all depends on what you look for or find amusing in a season. So no, I don't think the Shark as been Jumped. :) I also really liked Fiji which everyone else seemed to hate.

I'm just amazed that he's lasted this long. The guy is completely fucking useless. I've been watching since season 1, and I've never seen a more worthless lump on this show.

Where exactly did I say "I don't like it!"? This season sucks (so far), Season 1 was good when it was on because it was new. S2 through S7 were good, though I didn't like the outcast twist either. Other seasons, while not nearly as good as the first 7 were entertaining enough to keep my attention. This season I usually wind up fast forwarding through a lot of it. There seems to be a difference in casting or something because the "survivors" just haven't been as good. The biggest problem this season is the groups of REJECTS that they are trying to pass off as "Favorites".

Sounds to me like you don't like it. But maybe you like shows that have "jumped the shark" and shows you want to "be done with."

Casting has gone down hill the past 5 or 6 seasons. This season especially is a low point. They bring back a worthless POS like Cirie and call her a "Favorite"? And she's out there complaining... "Not only do we have to play the game but we have to teach them to play it too." Worthless POS. Ami, a "Favorite"? Liza, a "Favorite"? Ok.... whatever. Either way, the Survivor concept is still entertaining. I never said "I don't like it". I just said this season is what this board's name is, it Sucks and I want it over so we can get to the next season. As far as shows that "Jumped the Shark", I watched Happy Days all the way to the end... even after the Fonz "Jumped the Shark". I even watched Joanie Loves Chachi for the half season that it was on, or however long it was on. Survivor needs to get back to the way they did it in the first 7 seasons.
