I feel like i'm watching the damn Grammy's. Can an Archuletatard get shoved into the judges' platform in that excuse for a mosh pit?
This new intro sucks ass too. Can they please stick to the previous one?

It's the first time I noticed the intro (haven't really paid attention to the previous weeks). Did they just change it or was it there all along? I do
love the fact that it's Kelly, Carrie and Jordin at the end.

I could tell they clearly included all of the winners this time, but emphasized the trifecta of Kelly, Carrie and Jordin at the end.

They completely changed it. I think one of the reasons I heavily disliked it was because it included Taylor.

If you noticed they change the intro/stage every 3 years.
seasons 1-3 were the same seasons 4-6 had the spinning AI logo of doom This year I was disappointed they didn't change it at first, so I was surprised they did tonight. But yeah, expect this intro/stage until season 10.... |

That's just not true. The intro changed after AI1, and the stage changed three times before AI4, with two changes to the semi-finals stage, maybe three.
Oh, and I HATE the werid "American Idol" titlecard shown at the beginning of commercial breaks. It looks so dated! |

I don't like any of it. The stage was much better before. This one is a lot more cramped, the other one you could preform on th sides. now it looks like
one long stage and the screen in the back is smaller because of the second floor band. Now they can't interact with the band when singing.
The mosh pit sucks too, I don't want to see stupid people from the audience try to grab them, ugh. |

The titlecard sucks - yeah, it looks dated. Like some old Coca Cola logo.
The stage - I LOVE. I was getting sick of the huge screen they had for seasons 5 and 6 so I'm glad they changed it completely. I just hate the moshpit. It's so... out of place. And is it just me or are there less posters/signs in the audience? |

I'm not a fan of the new stage either. It looks like Idol 1's small Top 10 stage.
The new intro is just okay. They changed the semifinal stage for season 5. There was no long staircase with contestants watching from above seasons 1-4. |

And is it just me or are there less posters/signs in the audience?I'm sure they all appeared when Archtard went up and performed. That's why I hate this stage. It looks so cramped, and Ramiele walking down those steep steps, it looked like she nearly fell over.

The season 1-3 intro was basically the same, with a few tweaks each year to make it look fresh.
I can't stand the new intro - it's so boring! They should have made the intro look like the Fox Idol promos! The set is an ugly hunk of crap - what's the point of the weird-shaped screen in the background? |

The new stage sucks, it seems like they actually lost budget of the season. The smaller screen and stage area makes it feel much less important/impressive.

Yeah, all you really see are Jordin/Kelly/Carrie��� There is a hint of fantasia, and maybe a flash of Taylor.�� You have to really look hard though.

I like the intro because you get to see Taylor twice as much as the old intro. And by twice as much I mean 1 second vs. .5 seconds.
