His outdated, too-small, boyish outfit looks like it came from a private middle school or summat. We're treated to a vidclip of Chikezie feeling people up at LAX, as a screener. The band, complete with violin, is having fun. He doesn't miss the opening high notes too badly, but they're not on target, either. He stands, and the intonation is better. Then he does some hokey thing where he speak-sings a line, then shout-sings a line. It's hysterical after that! If this is what he calls "funk" it'll get him through to the next round on originality, but not particularly musical talent. Giving credit, though, if you got nothin' to lose, go for it. Paula: Chikezie, this is exactly when Ryan asked, take a risk. The greater the reward. You started with "O Brother Where Art Thou" then gave it a rock vibe. I was waiting for this. The reward paid off.
