Honestly, I don't have that much to say about most of the Fans. Alexis and Erik seem nice enough and zzzzz; Natalie's strategy is one of working hard, shutting the heck up, and trying not to draw attention to herself, which is not in and of itself the worst plan I have seen; Jason I have seen nothing to base a real opinion off of; and Kathy and Chet are circling the drain.

JOEL: I have a hard time buying that he's an actual big fan. His strategy, if you can call it that, was that he seemed to assume that he could vote off all the men, and then go to the merge with the women, dominate every challenge, and win. Dude definitely did not watch Cirie's season. Or Ami's. NO WAY would either of them let him get away with that. Whatever. He's like Lex, only much more so.

TRACY: Tracy is a smart strategic player. She knows how to find the power, she knows how to get her own way, and she knows how to persuade her audience. She's even managed to last this far being aligned with what are possibly the two weakest and lamest alliance partners EVER. I mean, even the Palau Tribe of the Damned wasn't that pathetic.

FAVES: Way more interesting.

PARVATI: I do think we're seeing a mostly positive spin to her edit. We see new elements to her game, and we see her playing. However, I do think that, given her reputation as being a dubious choice for an All-Stars season, I would imagine that in order for her to win, she needs some really unlikable opponents in the final.

JONATHAN: Swan song for him after the injury. A pity, might have been a real force otherwise.

AMANDA: She didn't win this one, either. The edit last time was more convincing than this one, but this time, other than that we see she can catch a shark, we're seeing nothing strategic. I don't buy that she can make it to the end as Ozzy's Amber. If anything, she's being marketed for CBS to put her and Ozzy together on a future Amazing Race edition.

OZZY: Although he is a powerhouse and he does have the idol, he is going to be a major target. Also, it must be remembered that even though he is a master of the physical elements of the game, there's a reason that Yul beat him when it came to the jury... he's a better athlete than a strategist.

AMI: Why is she so in the background? She must not play a relevant part this season.

JAMES: The Airai needed him, because they clearly don't know what the hell they're doing survivalwise, and his work ethic and physical prowess will serve him well. I do think he's going to be a target post-merge, though.

ELIZA: The problem I see with Eliza is, once again, she's got a better handle of the mental game than the social game. She, once again, is stuck on a tribe full of people she's not close to, in an alliance of convenience rather than of trust. She's stuck either trying to bond with Alexis and Natalie, being branded a traitor, and losing, or hoping that James and Parvati are good to her and want to keep her around.

CIRIE: I hope she wins this thing, because it's going to be a major letdown for me if she doesn't. I think, so far, she has done EVERYTHING right. Plus, if she gets Amanda and Parvati into the final three as planned, Amanda and Parv are going to be seen as backstabbing bimbos for ousting Ozzy and James-- no blood on Cirie's hands. Cirie has played this, so far, as well as anyone could have... somehow, she keeps making the decisions and driving the action... keeping the targets on the strong and off of her. I have long said that Tina Wesson is the queen of Survivor, and the thirteen seasons that followed hers, UNTIL NOW, none of the female players have dominated and controlled the game as she did.... Cirie is quite possibly able to take Tina's crown for the best female player in Survivor history. After Tina, the subsequent female winners have mostly won lesser-of-two-evils contests (Amber and Vecepia) or out-and-out popularity contests against maligned tribemates (Jenna, Danni, and Sandra). The social games have been rewarded over the strategic games. To be fair, male winners have won as lesser of two evils (Chris) or popularity contests (Ethan, Earl even though he was the most deserving of those not named Yau-Man, and probably Tom to some extent).
