If you can't laugh that sort of thing off, you really have a problem. There is a diffrence between being not particularily Gay friendly and being a homophobe-homophobia is when you get so uncomfortable about it you can't even control your impulses...like him just squirming and doffing his hat. Piers could have done the smae thing to Lenox, Tito, Bible-banging Stephen, or Gene and they all would have laughed it off. I am going to go wank off to Trace's picture now just to piss him off!!! It all comes down to being a good sport. Yes, a straight man might not want a Gay man coming on to him in an intimate fashion-but having another straight guy kiss you for comic effect in a room with a bunch of other people should not be construed as a threat unless you have SERIOUS issues.

He strikes me as being a very private and modest person(sexually). So it is not unreasonable to see he would be embarrassed by any overt sexual advances/expressions. He has shown himself to be very open-minded and not one to engage in mud slinging of he naughty kind or the under-handed kind. Please give him more leeway and try to see things from his point of view. He has been very classy thus far. Please?
