I hope he's got some gold on there somewhere. Whoever's picking the singles for airplay (or SNL performances), which again, is all I've heard, is
picking some crappy shit.

Anyone with ears can hear that it does would be more correct but whatever.
I actually think "Light On" is the worst song on the album and think the album is great. "Light On" is not Cook's writing and doesn't suit him well imo. I enjoy who David is and his style of music and I think it's a good album. |

I loved Cook's blasé reaction to being presented with his platinum for "Time of your life". It was a bit of a "Really? For this shit
song?" moment. Immediately followed by "Yeah, that's great, give me more of them" ingratitude. Maybe I just don't get his sense of
humor.

Honestly, I really don't think he cares two shits about TOML. It was foisted on him, it's not his. I can totally understand the gratitude for it being platinum and also his desire for his own work to be there as well. |
