Why don't you actually listen to it and judge for yourself? Or do you want to function with the same narrow minded brain the general public does about Idol?

How does coming from Idol automatically eliminate you from making loud music? I'm not arguing that Cook makes loud music, I'm just saying anyone can try out for Idol and I think Cook is different from the so called "typical Idol crap" that everyone seems to associate the show with. I don't really think his music is loud or hardcore, but I also don't think the CD is generic. There is is a song or two on there that I'm sure the label pushed hard to get on there and that I probably wouldn't have included. Other than that I think it's actually a very good CD. The vocals are good, a lot of the writing is good and he's got the most songs co-written by him out of all the AI winners. He even has one written entirely by him and from his pre-Idol music included on there and I think the fact that he was given that freedom by RCA says a lot about his talent as an artist and songwriter.

You're right, you don't have to listen to it but if you're going to criticize it you should. You're just an uninformed asshat if you don't. Previews don't count, sit down and listen to the whole CD if you want to run your mouth. I listened to Archtard's CD before I went around making negative comments about it.

Say what you will about Cook's fans but we're hardly even close to being the most delusional group of Idol tards out there.

The person who originally made the critique of the CD didn't offer any elaborate or explaination about what was bad about it so why should fans elaborate on their defense? This isn't a one way street, if people are going to throw out this bs fans are going to have a comeback. If people aren't even going to make well considered, original critiques of the music why wouldn't the fans get annoyed? Haters need to shut their arrogant traps sometimes, especially if they aren't even well informed, and don't even bother listening to the music.
