I don't get the bad song choices. Maybe he's realized he needed to get fans worried this late in the season. His performance was alright, not bad, but
not near the hysteria they've set up for him. It was going through the motions. He's better at making pop into rock. He should stay away from covering
rock.
For that I guess he's our American Idol. |

Two songs I really love in one night watered down and overworked by this heinous poseur fuck... and it's pretty abysmal when you water down "Hungry
Like the Wolf," one of the most bubblegum pop songs of the 80's (and I rate Duran Duran among the best pop acts ever.)
In fact, I just saw Duran Duran perform a couple days ago and even though they're approaching 50 their performance was more relevant and inspired than this pussy's. I can't even let my mind consider how he violated the Who. I only caught he last 45 seconds or so of that, but it was sufficient to keep the hate fires burning. |

^ I agree, he had a very poseur-y night. I think one of the only times he didn't have that vibe was when he sang his Mariah song and his brother was in the audience. |

yeah, I was listening to the Howard Stern wrap up show last week, and of all people Ralph called in and described David perfectly. He said he's a total fake rocker, it's like he read some instruction manual on how to achieve the "rocker" stereotype on American Idol, and just followed it to a T. Like, he read what sort of clothes you're supposed to wear, then went to Hot Topic for some "hip" threads and had his hair done just so, but none of it is authentic or even his own idea. He's such a tool. |

I hated Cook in the beginning - even before he sang - he just looked really douchey and big-headed (literally as well, as we all know). Then I started to like him before I found out he stole those covers without giving people credit. Then I started liking him again for a while, especially during Mariah week. But now his performances are annoying again, and the only reason I will support him is to see him beat Archuleta in the final. He does go by the stereotype - and the inflections in his voice when he sings are beyond irritating. |

... I'm watching the show right now... and this peanut-head just finished his second song...
I thought the first song was an alright vocal, but boring. The second song... the second song was UTTER SHIT! REPULSIVE! He was sharp and flat and everything in between through the whole song! WTF! That was almost worse than his pathetic over-praised crapfest that was "Always Be My Baby."

OMG, Syesha was fabulous on both performances! And finally she was heartfelt! She has been fabulous for like 3 or 4 weeks in a row when everybody thought she
was gonna be out by now. Good for her... Still, she's very average as a whole in my book though.
I will always hate Cookie though. I will hate him now. I will hate him tomorrow. I will hate him when he wins. I will hate him when he's playing on my radio.
