I'm assuming these quotes are from the scaries at DDB. I think it's been established that they are all neurotic. TWOP has been talking about the gift
giving scandal. My opinion? I think all of the gifts have been a result of a collection of money from many. So I don't think any one fan is spending
ridiculous amounts on him. I'm probably wrong but lets just say they aren't. I don't see a problem there. Where I do see the problem is
understanding why they want to give these gifts. Is it just a gesture of kindness? Is it a competition? Have they lost
touch with reality? Do they simply have no life? It all comes down to a controversy of what the internet fandom is doing to society.

I think Jason's fans are the most irrational and deluded. Even over Archie's and Cook's. Curve, I'm sorry, but you need to get with your
fellow Jasontards and give them a talking to.

Well, it looks like the lead loony has gone to 3 or 4 of the shows and wants to be the one to give him the visa card with the $$$ at the Tulsa (?) show.....
What I find a bit more disturbing is that Castro's mom supposedly sanctions this shit. |

Curve, I'm sorry, but you need to get with your fellow Jasontards and give them a talking to.That would require a lot of giving a shit that I don't have I was at my sister's house the other day reading her shit from over there. I was really close to taking her advice and registering with the screen name jasongavemeherpes but I just couldn't do it. I did however laugh until I nearly threw up. Ok, partly I almost threw up because we googled herpes for an avi. And I don't know what Jason's mom has said about the gift giving. I would want to see a direct quote before I believed that she was encouraging it. |

"I think Jason's fans are the most irrational and deluded"
I agree. Not all obviously but the hardcore are nuts. Plus I think he feeds into the crap with his "date night" videos. When the tour ends, do the gifts stop? |

Curve, I hope you know I excluded you from my comments about Jason fans? I know you're not signing on to give him hard earned money to buy a computer,
ie, considering he is earning lots for the tour and gets free computers.

When the tour ends, do the gifts stop?Actually I think I read a thread title 'end of tour gift blah blah'. So maybe...but then there's Christmas. Yeah, I know Dag :) I have no intentions of giving him my money....unless, he becomes a stripper and I can stuff in his underwear myself.

I think opendoor has the right idea. Castro needs to show a little skin on date night if he wants to get some sugar. |

The Castro family is way too involved in Jason's internet fanbase and it's going to end badly with accusations and bad feelings all around. Just ask
the Clay and Justin fans here ( AFAIK, Kelly's family and friends wisely kept their distance). It does nothing but create a paranoia that you are always
being monitored about what you say that still exisits to this day. The gift giving is pathetic and needy and it's more to create one-upmanship than to
show their 'love'. One of J's boards sends flowers to his mother AND His girlfriends every year. The funniest was that year they sent a spa gift
certificate (I know - creepy) to him for his b-day to be used with his girlfriend. It was like "Here Justin get your girl all waxed and softed up so you
can bang her later". They broke up a month later.
Jason and his family need to stop this immediately with a clear message that any donations should be be to the charity of his choice. Justin tried but was too laid back in his approach but honestly, there are some that won't get the message short of a restraining order. |

So now mama Castro is having cease and desist orders sent out to teentards that design there own t-shirts and necklaces with dread heads? Yikes, she is not
helping her son out with this sort of shit....

She needs to cease and desist those goobs with that scary soccerball likeness of Jason, with the weird dreads.
Okay, I just read back through the last 2 pages. I can't believe those fuckchops thought it was okay to shat all over the idea of giving to a man who is being ravaged by a horrible disease vs giving Jason a computer. Unbelievable.

Actually she asked them not to sell it and I think that's a pretty reasonable request. And why twop gives a 4 page
shit about it is beyond me.

well, I just went over to VFTW... of course they are negative fuckers but.... where there's smoke, I smell mama castro (who's give mama chuleta a run
for her money, for most in your face idol parent, lol)
from VFTW Jason Castro's mom, Betsy, has now stepped up to an even more shameful platform that hurts kids. The Castro family was already mooching free flights off of the fans and tricking them into sending pictures of Jason so the family could profit by designing merchandise. Now Betsy is sending out a cease and desist to anyone who sells anything with Jason's likeness on it. If some big manufacturer was producing Castro crap, sure, it might be understandable. But Betsy is attacking little kids who are making things like charm bracelets for themselves and friends, most of which don't even have Jason's name on them. Also, a teenager designed a shirt for the Castrotards to wear to show their fan support (left), and Betsy is requiring her to stop making them for friends as well. You don't see the other Idols attacking teenagers for making low-grade fan items. This is just shameful, but it seems Jason's family are low-life, classless, greedy people, so it's not a shock. Betsy's message:
eta- btw, I don't hate Jason, actually think he is adorkable and a pretty talented guy but his family on the other hand..... |

How did a mom like Betsy end up with a laid back, nice kid like Jason? What a nightmare she is; greedy, ungrateful thing.

I admit I haven't read everything about this. I don't care that much. But I haven't seen where she has asked them to stop making things for their
themselves or their friends. I think it was mostly about the shirts that girl was selling on cafepress with this logo she made...

I think that logo is adorkable, and I would almost buy one just to stick my tongue out at Betsy and say "neener neener." It's not like she can
co-opt the artwork and sell it herself. It's not like she can lay claim to the term "Dreadheads." And it's not likely any of this Idol shit
is going to sell big in the future.
Again, completely greedy and ungrateful to his fans. eta: Now that I'm looking at that cute logo again, I'm thinking it could replace the Thanksgiving kindergarten project where you trace your hand and make a turkey? And then they laminate it and the kids give it to their parents as a festive placemat? Maybe only six-fingered, double-jointed kids could do the project though.

I've always loved that little logo. Probably way cuter than any official merchandise.
