They read waaaaaay too much on BB4 as well. It was just a nice boring cast, after the backlash of the BB3 cast getting drunk every night.

Yes! Still stuns me that they let them bring ANY reading material into the house in those early seasons. Nothing is more boring than watching people read. At
least when they sunbathe they'll talk.

I think the house was part of the problem. It was so muted, drab & cozy that it would make anybody want to get comfortable and have a cat nap. Perhaps the
dullest design of the bunch but I haven't watched any of BB2.

In BB4, they all seemed like just a bunch of normal people stuck on their week 1 politeness setting through the whole thing. Even putting in twists
couldn't shake things up. The only housemates that I would consider possible standouts are Anouska and Lisa but look how long they lasted. What also really
annoyed me is they'd sleep through half the day and wake up at about 2 in the afternoon making the first half of the day stupidly pointless.

That's a good way to put it: Stuck on Week 1 politeness.
and thanks Poody :) |

Wow, it sounds completely horrible.

It was relatively OK. You might like one or two making it somewhat interesting to watch. 1st double eviction and the big swap.

I'd much rather see them put together a three week All Star show rather than dig up some B-lister celebrities that are cast solely for their fameworthiness
rather than their ability to entertain us in the house...
I mean, c'mon. How hard is it to chuck a dozen or so great contestants into the house along with adding in 4 villains (Nick/Victor/Grace/Charley) three days later after the first double eviction as a publicity stunt? |

I would love to see an All-Star season. If it is a complete disaster at least it will only last a few weeks and we can just move on. If it is a success, it
could be great for ratings.

they would only sit around talking about tabloids, nightclubs, and their agents. i wouldn't want to watch that.

Yeah my big concerns would be
1) they've all been through it so they wouldn't be as fazed or bothered by BB 2) they'd be talking showbiz/tabloids/agent stuff all the time 3) most of them know each other already 4) most of the really great ones especially from the earlier seasons wouldn't do it. 5) still a popularity contest so people like Brian Belo (who'd do it in a heartbeat) and Pete and the Twins would be in the final. Say what you will about the US version but there a All-Star version made season even if the ending was shit. |

I really hope BB digs down WAY deep and gives us a Celeb season that is more like the 3/4 CBB cast. They need to re-vamp it not only for ratings for CBB but
to pump everyone up and renew some faith for BBUK10.

I wouldn't like an All Stars season as all the people who came back in the house after they were voted out were a let-down. Jon did nothing, Nikki became a
fake characture of herself and Jade... well you know. And as CP said: it's always the most recent people who'd win in a public-voting-game. That
probably means Mikey wins this All Stars...

Mikey & The Twins wouldn't be All Stars though...neither had substantial story lines or anything new to bring to the table. They'd be limited to
two (or at most, three) from a given season. Rex would be a lock from last year, potentially one of the Luke/Bex pairing (but NOT both. Ugh)...Darnell was a
pretty big character also and well liked until all of the Sara crap. Let's not forget Sara as well.
I'd go with these 13 on opening night: Craig Anna Brian Helen Alex Kate Tickle Nadia Makosi Science Nikki Glyn Chanelle (would like to see if she could pull of a Chantelle like victory or just be a total media whore and face early eviction) Rex Sara Evict two of them in a double eviction on Day 4 that has at least four nominees from nominations that are held on the night of Day 2. On Day 4, bring in the following villains: Nick/Victor/Grace/Charley. You would then have 15 people. Double eviction on Day 7/Day 10/Day 14/Day 17/Day 21 would cut out ten and give us five for finale night, Day 23. |

All-Stars would have to be US style.
Half villain vs. half hero cast. With enough typical manipulation to make sure at least one hero survives until the finale, then public vote at the end as a shock twist. |

I don't see it. Give up TWO slots in a cast to a single couple? Neither one should be included. Bex wasn't remotely entertaining, at all. Luke would
just keep acting like an ass, talking about magazine deals & why Rachel is fake.

The only reason I personally would want to see an All Stars is for more Lukeownage <3333
