Or, for a comedic ending, having her say "I don't like it" and then black! :)

I mean, we know she's going to die. Just kill the bitch and move the plot along already. I thought she was going to be jealous of their relationship and do the stupid move that would put everyone in jeopardy that ended up to be done by Joplin. I don't see any difference between the lead living or dying - whether or not she died was irrelevant since it only changed the last couple of seconds of the show - they'd have to have her turn out to be a coward or give her an early death to break the cliche. If anything it was more obvious for her to die since how the hell could anyone write a scenario in which she survives? (also, the horror heroine is normally likeable, whereas Kelly had the cheating subplot at the start to "justify" her death).

It premiers, we have two or three weeks, and then it is over. No three month turmoil where we already know who wins a nice quick little show. Plus I love the surprises opening night (Amy in CBBUK and the surprise of Jo O'Meara despite her being a huge let down).

Posts: 7211 (11/07/08 1:31 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	i just got back from seeing russell brand... even though i am sick i didn't want to miss it, and it was worth it! he was terrific. it looks like most of the material will end up on a comedy central special so anyone who's a fan can catch it then. and he even kind of apologized for the VMA debacle but also explains why it wasn't as good as it should have been. i had on a morrissey t-shirt and he came out to "the last of the famous international playboys" so obviously we were meant to be together. Most of the people seemed to be there because of Forgetting Sarah Marshall or because they were British expats and actually knew him as a comedian. alas, since i am really sick i decided not to stay after and stalk him, so I didn't get to talk with him about Big Brother. Next time, definitely.

There was rarely any meanignful or at leas tlong lasting conflicts. They went to bed relatively early and weren't really a 'wild' bunch. They really had to stretch to find any whiffs of romance in there story-wise as well. They'll chuck in a HM later on to spice things up and she does but is booted almost instantly. BB4 does have one of the coolest twists though and that was amazing TV. The rest though is OK just nowhere near as "OMG!" as other seasons. Even the rleatively tame ones like BB1-3 had more goign for it cast wise. You had your Nicks and Helens and Pauls and Jades and Alexs.
