The UK voting public sent the show a message about twisted "characters" like Luke and the rest of the Whispers. Yet they continue to dominate media coverage and were shoved in viewers' faces at the finale. I won't be surprised if the ratings drop again unless BB gets the message.

I think, strangely enough, that the producers thing we want to see people like Luke and Bex. And I don't get it. Davina was clearly in the minority on that point given...oh, I dunno, the fact that they were evicted by halfway through the series and RACHEL of all people went on to win?? I think the fact that this series only dropped .1 million in the overall viewers is an indication that it was a success though. And I don't think they're really worried. As someone in this thread said, television now goes at keeping viewers, not trying to regain. That's futile. That being said, I do still have faith that they will cast BB10 well. Dale and Stuart need to fuck NOW. I think Stuart>>>>>Dale. And Dale's personality is just the crusty rim of a dog's anus. So...not super into this pairing :P.

I think it's very insecure to bank on that type of entertainment, because most viewers already know what a Bex or a Luke is like based on the million other BB seasons. It's like one of those kids who keeps jumping up and down to get attention, not realizing the more he throws a tantrum, the less people care. I think the fact that this series only dropped .1 million in the overall viewers is an indication that it was a success though. I read somewhere that the ratings for the eviction shows dropped this year. I think the #1 reason is Davina. Everyone knows what they're getting with her interviews, particularly this season.
