And BB5 may have had all the drama in the world, but it didnt have a single likable person (to me) and hence I found it pretty much unwatchable.
I'm hoping for a mix of the great parts of BB3 & BB6 for this year!

BBUK2007 was really my first UK season that I watched in real time so that is why I might have liked it more than I would have if I had watched the last few
seasons before that.
I just remember it being so radically different than the US Big Brother and that being the reason I liked it. The host (Davina) interacted with the audience in a way I had never seen before just watching the Chenbot for the past few years before that. I'm excited for this season of BBUK. |

Your first BBUK always holds a special place. It's why I'll always adore Series 7. Helps that it had 2 of my all-time faves in Glyn & Aisleyne Some
great twists and turns along the way. And my fave eviction (Sezer's).
PS I got some Piccalilli too. |

BB6 is the first I watched in real time, and it is my favorite, though I think it would be my favorite regardless, as only BB3 comes close to it (though I
still wish I could see the end of BB2
I do think that BB8 is underrated though, as it had some great characters to root for, its just that the bad ones were so bad that it dragged the series down. There will never be another Nicky though, thats for sure! I shall go watch her best bits right now. |

Season 7 will always hold a special place for me cause it was my first season. I agree that BB5 has nobody really to root for. I'm now going to eventually
go through the whole thing just so I can see every BBUK available but when I tried to watch it a year ago I stopped at the Emma/Michelle bedsit eviction.

Loved BB6, even if it got really creepy towards the end with bunny boiler Craig.
Science? Ugh, that guy was like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. Looking forward to the new season! |

The biggest problem I see with BBUK is not that the show does a poor job casting, they have a number of Amazing People every season. The problem is the public
votes out all the great ones. People how vote for these shows never vote to keep people with big personalities in so you get an end game with mostly boring and
nice people. I also think adding so many people towards the end hurts the season. I would rather the show start with a big group, or do what the show did last
year and add people the first few weeks, and then keep it that way all the way until the end. No house next door or creepy people added like last year.
As long as we are also talking about the best housemates I have to say that I love Nicky. She was hilarious. The 7 deadly sins task for her made me fall on the floor. Having her Charley, and Chanelle leave all in a row blew last season. |

Big Brother 9 will launch on June 5 to avoid a ratings battle with Britain's Got Talent, according to reports today.
The Channel 4 reality series traditionally kicks off towards the end of May, but the network is believed to have delayed this year's launch because a clash with Talent would be too risky. Ratings for Big Brother 8 dropped below 3 million viewers when it competed against the ITV1 show last summer. The new series is expected to last for 13 weeks, with the final airing on September 5. Insiders have admitted that this year's run could be "make or break" for the show, though suggestions that the 2007 series was a flop have been played down. One source told the Daily Star: "Last year was a success. We had superbitch Charley, the Ziggy and Chanelle romance, the sexy 'Samanda' twins and of course dopey Brian who ended up winning. But that was last summer. The new show is what matters. Big Brother 9 is make or break." |

No comments on Chanelle's new single yet? I'm disappointed in all of you.
The song isn't SO horrible in a "Dance Like Theres No Tomorrow" way, but the video? |
