re: the $30 burger. Does it *really* matter if it cost $30? Even if it was $2 burger from MickyD's or a homemade pan-fried burger, it's still someone else's food. And, no, you probably would not backhand or swat someone else's kid (what!? Are you kidding? And risk them lawyering up and suing you?) especially not at a very nice, very expensive restaurant. Because that just makes *you* look like trailer trash. About the only thing you could probably do is stand up, take the plate away, hand it to a waiter, say you're "done" (after the kid has crawled all over the floor then put his hands & toy all over your food, no doubt you're "done" with it) and moved away to somewhere else.
I wonder what the child psychologist thought of Francois? I've heard those interviews can be wickedly picky over the tiniest thing.
Which is why the whole thing was obviously set up for the camera. I'm sure it went like this. Francois walked up to his plate and went to touch his
food. Jason, not being in a coma said no. The person holding the camera said, "it's funny. let him destroy the burger. we'll order another."
Then, as Francois goes to town, Bethenney and Jason were instructed to act shocked and disgusted (not a stretch).
The child psychologist probably thought Francois was a bright 2 or 3 year old boy (don't remember his age). The fact that he tricked the tester by not
doing the puzzle correctly the first time, then suddenly doing it perfectly shows that Francois is pretty smart, and most likely bored. Other than that, I
didn't see anything strange about him. Seemed like a typical little boy who wants to have fun. It's Alex and Simon's job to tame him.
