I think Cirie is playing essentially the same game she did in EI. She's a sniper and she'll switch at the drop of a hat, but she's still pretty
likable. She alienated Jonathan, but Ami and Elixa seem to hold no grudge. Her biggest difference, as with all the ASS, is that their games are out in the
open. IMO Her biggest vulnerablity is she is known as a threat, and can't just slip by.

She's coming across as a bitch. That's solely an interpretation though. Jenna M. came off as a bitch in the Amazon, which she readily admits. Cirie comes of to me like one tough player who is constantly underestimated. After rewatching the previous episode, I thought she looked like a skilled player who not only knew who her personal competition was, but broke one alliance and dominated the other she was supposed to be the fifth wheel in. What she's not is somebody's fifth wheel to be used and discarded. I think the final 3 deal cut between Amanda/Parvati/Cirie is deeper than the showmance alliances. Notice that James and Ozzy said they made a mistake, but Amanda and Parvati kept their mouths shut. This season, the women outwit the men and the men outwit themselves. ---------------- If one or more contestants to evacuated next episode, it is important to note that the rule is that they have to show up for the next challenge or TC. That someone is medivacced is not necessarily, though it usually is, a sign that they are out of the game. In Africa, dehydration was so serious, that more than one player was given a time-out for an IV. |

Looks like the shark catching is at Erik's camp...
Post-switch? (That's Amanda? I utterly can't recognize her without her blur.) So Tracy, Amanda, Cirie, or Ami caught it. (Gawd, would Ozzy be hopelessly smitten forever if Amanda is cute and beautiful and lets him touch her breasts and can catch sharks?)

crocophile wrote: I think Croc is onto something here. I forget who did it back on ASS, but they wrote a great post about how everyone on ASS played basically the same game
they did in their original seasons. It's almost game theory. A different alignment of those 18 castaways and a totally different final 2 may have arisen
theoretically based on how those same strategies played out with a different starting arrangement. (Of course, there are always the nonquantifiable aspects of
this game, so who knows.)
---------------- What makes Jonathan so dangerous to Cirie right now is that he is the only favorite not underestimating her. --

Cerie is not being edited as negatively as she could be. We see her rather harsh decisions, but we understand WHY she does what she does.
___________________________________________________________________ She had success getting Courtney I out in her season. She's after people she sees a
goats who would rival her goat game. And as unpopular as getting rid of the beloved Yau-Man arbitrarily and so early, she's running the risk of being
hated---by the public---but I dont think she cares about that one bit. She's wants to win that million dollars...And she sees the Showmancers as definate
NO votes from a jury in a final three situation. Esp. if it's the two girls...Ozzy and/or James could win a jury vote. Ozzy lost by only one vote to Yul,
remember in Cook Islands... ___________________________________________________________________But she'd win right now against Parvati or Amanda or
Eliza... __________________________________________________________________ And was it just me or did the James/Eliza confrontation scene seem almost a carbon
copy of the James/PG confrontation scene in China...? ___________________________________________________________________ And I think it's Joel who's
going to go this week on the NuMalakal team. Tracy AND Chet end up there, and Amy and Cerie and Ozzy and Amanda are all going to want the biggest challenge
threat(as they see it from the Fans) G-O-N-E.... I feel another blind side coming on. Also in the promos, we see Joel falling. We see him talking "in
medieval times"...He's prominently featured, but not featured as the one in jeopardy, which seems to be injured Jonathan or of course, Chet...Applying
the classic Out Front Girl theory, I'm saying it's Joel for the surprise boot this week...
___________________________________________________________________ Tracy and Chet will be only tooooo happy to get rid of him. Until they realize they are now
in the minority and ALLLLL the fans are going to have to go! Also I expect the NuMalakal tribe will be the one who experiences the fun Double Boot...Tracy and
Ami? But that's not this week. This week it's Joel.

Wooot, would love if Amanda becomes the woman to catch the shark. And that way, she'll also get more screentime this week.

It sounds to me that he was talking about injuries in general...that they will be a theme that plays out for the remainder of the game, not just specifically
Jonathan.
We know Chet has one, and probably Kathy (fingers?); there also was the Amanda hurts her ankle kinda spoiler. So who knows? |

Actually it a bit sounded to me as though he realized he was sounding as though Jonathan stayed and JP modified what he was saying into the "story of the
toll injuries take on the survivors."
He could have been hiding "jonathan goes" and he could have been hiding "jonathan stays" |

The schoolyard pick

I think Jason's position is interesting - he gets passed over in favor of Alexis and Erik. He's only picked ahead of Tracy/Kathy/Chet.

Apparently Erik is the fans best swimmer so I guess that might be a reason for him going before Jason.Interestingly enough, according to Alexis' blog (posted by tullfan2 in spoilers), Eric couldn't swim because of his contact lenses. While Erik was an incredible physical contender, having contacts put him out of contention for every one of our water challenges.Amanda probably didn't know that he wasn't able to swim. |
